Fun In The Sun - Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

Good morning bloggers!  Today the first Wednesday of the month which brings us to a scrapbook challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays.  Todays challenge is to make a summer layout with some type of stamping included on it.   I chose to do a layout with a picture of my little Zachary at 3 years old.  He is still so precious at 7 but the time just goes by so quickly!  I added some glossy accents to the splashes to make them "wet".

Materials:
Sentiment - Camera Shy - My Creative Time
Face - Snow Cutie Face Assortment PK-500  - Peachy Keen Stamps
Cricut Cartridges - Elegant Edges for Background Shape
                              Create-a-Critter for Sun
Paper Dolls for Everyday for water splashes
Patterned Paper - Citrus Stack  - DCWV
Lemon Drop Twine  -  The Twinery
Tonic Distresser for edges
1 3/4 circle punch
Corner Punch
Distress Inks - Broken China and Spiced Marmalade
White Gel Pen
Glossy Accents

An now for our sponsor.  One of my favorite ladies ever!  Emma from My Creative Time has given us her stamp set Fun in the Sun to give a way to a lucky partricipant.  So go ahead and link up your Summer Layout to enter for a chance to win!  We can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)

Cathryn,

This is just a great LO with the photo of your little one. He just looks like a natural island boy there. I really like the way you did the design of the page and especially love the way you made the splashes look wet. This is so cute Cathryn.

Adorable! Your son is so cute. All your kids look so much alike. Well from your profile pic anyway;) He does look darling. YOU used my favorite summer stack. I was so upset this weekend because I went to M's to get it and they were sold out. Said it is gone forever:( I was going to use those papers for my LO today. I love the sun, the little water drops and how you added the glossy accents. Of course the sentiment rocks. Great job Cathryn. Hugs!
