Throwback Thursday with My Creative Time

Welcome to this weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge with My Creative Time.  This time you can use any older cartridge you like but you must use the colors Green and Yellow somewhere in your project.  For my project I used Emma's Have Fun in the Sun stamp set.  This set contains so many cute sentiments it was hard to pick!!!

I used my Gypsy to weld the crab to the pail.  To get the packaging twine to "stick" where I wanted it to I just dabbed a little Zip Dry Glue on the twine and held it down for a few seconds.  I also used the Tonic distressing tool on the background paper.  I love that paper, it reminds me of a beach cabanna!

Materials:
Sentiment  - Have Fun in the Sun,  My Creative Time
Cricut Cartridges -  Life is a Beach for crab cut at 1.75"
Boys Will Be Boys for pail cut at 5"
New Leaf and Kraft Cardstock  -  PTI
Patterned Paper  -  Cotton Bloom Stack, DCWV
Packaging Twine
Gel Pen
Memento Black Tuxedo Stamp Pad
Tonic Distressing Tool
Here is a picture of the New Release stamp set I used!!! Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!

Tag It! - Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

Hello and welcome to the next Whimsical Wednesday Challenge.  Todays challenge is to make a tag and include some kind of Bling on it!  I LOVE bling so this was a slam dunk for me.  Usually all my projects have a little stickles, gems or some king of sparkly element!

I made a bunch of these tags as favors for my daughters Sweet Sixteen party that is coming up next month.  It was a bit expensive to buy all of the purple flowers that I needed so I found an alternative.  In the bridal isle of Michaels there were white flowers that came in 12 packs.  I inked them a little and then sprayed them with Glimmer Mist.  In that isle they also had bunches of small flowers on picks that I pulled apart and added to each tag.  I sponged some platinum ink on the leaves to tone them down a little bit.  For my bling I added some Diamond Dust on a few of the flowers.

Materials:
Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge for Hearts - Scallopped Heart cut at 4.5", Plain Heart Cut at 5.15"
Plum Pudding Cardstock  - PTI
Patterned Paper from my Scraps
Prima Flowers and Leaves
Modern Romance Floral Picks (from Bridal Isle)
Timeless Lilac Glimmer Mist
                                                  Dusty Concord Distress Ink
Assorted Flower Picks
Leaf Pins - Maya Road
Ribbon - Martha Stewart
Brilliance Platinum Ink

Please head on over to the Whimsical Wednesday blog to see the sneak peeks from the rest of the talented Design Team.  You can also link up YOUR tag over there.  I can't wait to see what you dream up!!!
Thank you for stopping by.  I truly appreciate all the comments left for me!

Happiness

Good Morning bloggie friends!  I made this card for the Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #51.  If you would like all the details on the challenge click here.  I used the flowers from the PKS Easter Patch Stamp set.  It is an Easter holiday set but it is worth getting it for just the flowers and the grass!  The little girl stamp I have had for at least 15 years!  I started stamping a long time ago and stopped but this was one of my favorite stamps so I packed it away.  About 2 years ago I got my cricut and then started stamping again.

Materials:
Flowers Stamp - PKS Easter Patch PK-286
Sentiment - Turn That Frown Upside Down from My Creative Time
Girl Stamp - Love You To Bits
Patterned Paper - Cotton Bloom Stack DCWV
Copics
Sewing Machine
The cloud and grass I cut freehand
Buttons & Crochet Thread from Michaels
Black Diamond & Yellow Stickles
Broken China & Peeled Paint Distress Inks

If you have a chance pop on over to Emma's Blog.  She has created a Race for the Cure charity stamp set.  $2.00 for every stamp set sold is donated to the Susan G. Komen for a cure foundation!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday.  I hope all my mom friends out there did too!!  Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate all my followers and all of the comments left for me!
