Quick Cookie Party Favor with CD Envelopes

Hello to all my friends and followers!  Hooray it's Friday and I'm heading to CKC Lantcaster this weekend!!!  I hope to get some great inspiration to share with you guys in the future!
For today's project I am showing you some very quick favors I made for a birthday party I had this past weekend.
I made some huge chocolate chip cookies, put them on some wax paper and slid them into a CD envelope for a quick package.  To make the cookies even quicker I picked up a large tub of cookie dough from my local warehouse store.  I placed a level ice cream scoop of cookie dough on a cookie sheet, flattened it down a bit and baked at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  They fit perfectly in the CD window.

Supplies:
CD Envelopes  -  Walmart
Craft Seam Binding, Coffee Bean  -  EK Success
Happy Day 6x6 Paper Pad  -  Simple Stories
Fine Linen Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Evergreen Bough Distress Ink
Copic Markers  -  E25, BG10, E33

Thank you for stopping by my blog.  I have enjoyed all the nice comments you have all left for me.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)

A Card, Altered Flip Flops, and a Bookmark - Guest Designer for My Creative Time

Good morning, this is Cathryn from In the Pink.  Today I am guest designing for Emma!  So happy to help fill in for such a sweet lady!
I have a bunch of projects for you today, all with at least one thing in common.  They use some of Emma's dies to make flower embellishments!

My first project is a card I made with the Fun Pockets stamp and die set, the Floral Sentiments stamp set and the Flower Petal die.  I used an epoxy paperclip and the Flower petal die to make a much prettier clip to put on the pocket.  It can be removed and used separately.

The next projects are made from plain flip flops I purchased at Target.  I dressed them up with the Flower Petal and Scallop circle dies and some felt from Papertrey Ink.

I used some heavy duty quilting thread to sew each flower together and then onto the flip flops.

I made these flowers using the stitched circle die.  I cut the felt at each scallop about 3/4 of the way to the center.  The middle flower has one layer from the Flower Petal die on top.

This project is a bookmark I made using a Jumbo paperclip and one of the same flowers from the above flip flops.

I used a needle and thread to whip stitch the flower on to the large clip, then I fabric glued another felt flower over the back to hide the stitching.

Here are the paperclips before I added the flowers.

Supplies I Used:
Fun Pockets stamp and die set, Scallop and Stitched Circle dies,
Flower Petal die and Floral Sentiments stamp set  -  My Creative Time
Lost and Found Two paper pad  -  My Minds Eye
Fine Linen Card Stock and Holiday Mix Vintage Buttons  -  Papertrey Ink
Lemon Tart, Raspberry Fizz and Blueberry Sky Felt  -  Papertrey Ink
Paperclips  -  Walmart
Flip flops  -  Target
3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue  -  Beacon Adhesives
Pearls from my stash

That is it for me today!  I hope you enjoyed my post and found some useful ideas!  Thank you to Emma for creating such fabulous products for us to use!  Have a great day!!!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)

Altered Picture Frame

Good Morning to all my friends!  Today I have a quick project I did with a small frame I picked up at Michaels.  I used the Rolled Flower die from My Creative Time to cut out some felt flowers to adorn it.  I used UTEE on the leaves to make the card stock more durable and Hot Glue to adhere it all to the frame.   I put the sentiment inside to make it pretty for gift giving instead of the "fake" picture it came with hehehe.

My Supplies:
Rolled Flower die  -  My Creative Time
Floral Sentiments stamp set  -  My Creative Time
Raspberry Fizz Felt and Ripe Avocado Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Pink felt and frame  -  Michaels
UTEE and Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad for leaves
Peeled Paint and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks
Rose Leaf Punch  -  Martha Stewart
Pearls from my stash
Hot Glue

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)

Flip Flop Birthday Cards

Good Morning everyone!    I hope everyone had a nice weekend.  Today I have 2 birthday cards using some of my favorite dies and stamps!  I used the Papertrey Ink Flipside die and My Creative Time All Around Birthday Time stamp set, All Around Everything Accessories stamp set and the Scallop and Stitched Circle dies.

I did not buy the stamp set that coordinates with the flip flop dies.  It was kind of pricey and I have a lot of background stamps and pretty paper I can use with them instead.

For this card I used:
Sunnyside paper  -  My Mind's Eye
Summer Sunrise Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Scattered Straw Stickles and Distress Ink
Lady Bug Ink  -  Memento
Jute Ribbon  -  Liz's Paper Loft Boutique
Copic Marker Y02
Adhesive gems and dimensionals

Additional Supplies for this card:
Lace  -  Vintage Whimsy Market Trims, The Girls' Paperie
Distress Tool  -  Tonic

Well that's it for me today!  I hope you enjoyed this post.  Have a fabulous day!!!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)
