I used Emma's Chunky Jar Die set to make these adorable baby food jars.  I ended up with two versions and I couldn't decide which one I liked better so here are both!

Vacation Breakfast Smashbook Layout - Designer's Challenge for My Creative Time

Good Morning!  Today is a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time. Design Team Member Nancy is the "challenger" this time!  Her challenge is to incorporate a memento into our project.  A ticket stub, menu, receipt or anything that reminds you of a special memory!  Your project can be a card, layout or anything you pick!

I did a smashbook page of my family's breakfast in Disneyworld last summer.  We were at the beautiful Polynesian Resort in Orlando, Florida.  For my memento I used pieces of the lei we were given to embellish the page.

As you can see I like to "smash" a lot of photos into my Smashbook!
Hehehe, my son was wearing socks with sandals.  He doesn't normally but he had such horrible blisters from all the walking we did.

I folded the Vintage Label die cut on the sides and stapled it to make it fit in the small space at the corner of my page.  I was thrilled when the sentiment from Lots of Love fit nicely in the circle!

List of Supplies:
Fun Tickets stamp set
Lots of Love stamp set
Harvest Gold Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Tangelo and Tuxedo Black Inks  -  Memento
Tiny Attacher  -  Tim Holtz
Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink
Glue Gun
Smash Book

Thank you for coming by and also for all the lovely comments you left for me last week!  You guys made my day!  Please go link up your "memento" project over at My Creative Time.  We can't wait to see what you contribute!!! Have a great day!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)

"Peas and Carrots" Card - My Creative Time February Release Blog Hop

Today I have a "Peas and Carrots" jelly bean card for the My Creative Time February Release Blog Hop.  This fabulous release is now available for purchase here!  Dont's wait too long to get what you want.  I have a feeling these sets will sell out quickly.  You should have arrived here from Cassandra's blog.  If not you can start at the beginning here!

When I saw these adorable "jelly beans" I knew I had to get them to do a project with Emma's cute little bunny die!

To make the window for the jelly beans to show through:
1. Attach the patterned paper to the red card stock.
2. Use the Large Jar die cut on the attached layers.
3.  Position the already cut layer on the base of my card and lightly traced the jar outline so you know where to place the die on the base of the card. Then cut out the jar on the base of the card.
4. Attached clear plastic square to the back of the red side of layers.
5. Attach layers to base of card.
6. Attach cello bag with jelly beans inside card with large glue dots.

It's not so easy to see in the picture but the bunny is dangling from the jar on a piece of twine.

I stamped the cute sentiment on one of the dies from the Slider Box set.

My Creative Time February Release Sneak Peek #2 - Birthday Ticket Card

Hello!  Today is Day 2 of Sneak Peeks of My Creative Time's February Release!  Today we are showing you a little bit of  "Fun Tickets" & the "Fun Ticket Dies"
For my card today I used my Gypsy and one of the "oldie" Cricut Cartridges.  I made a shaped card
from a ticket cut on Locker Talk.
I made the balloons out of the dies from "Warm Holiday Fun".  I embossed them 3 times with UTEE powder to make them very shiny.  The Birthday Sentiment is a sneak peek from "More of My Favorite Sayings" stamp set.

This would also work well as a party invitation!  I will probably simplify it a little to make it easier to mass produce

Supplies:
Scarlet Jewel and Vintage Cream Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Scarlet Jewel Ink  -  Papertrey Ink
Love Me 6x6 paper pad  -  My Mind's Eye
Locker Talk Cricut Cartridge for Ticket cut at 3.5"
Lace  -  Joann
 Tiny Attacher  -  Tim Holtz
White Gel Pen
Spun Sugar Distress Ink
UTEE embossing powder

I hope you enjoyed today's sneek.  Trust me, you will be blown away when you see these entire sets!!!  Go check out the rest of the sneak peeks here!  Don't forget to check tomorrow on Emma's blog to see if you are today's comment winner!  Here are the details:

Wedding Card - Designer's Challenge, My Creative Time

Hello!  Today is a new Designer's Challenge at My Creative Time.  Today Nikki, aka Scrappin Navy Wife, decided the challenge would be to make something with EMBOSSING, heat, dry or both!  Emma and the Design Team would love to see what you come up with!  Please link up your project here!

I decided to make a wedding card that I currently have NONE of in my stash.  I used the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for my dry embossing and the sentiment is heat embossed.

I intertwined two of the Stitched Scallop Heart diecuts by cutting one and hiding the slit under the other heart.  I then popped it up with some dimensionals.

This sentiment is from MCT's Many Greetings Stamp Set.  I stamped it in black pigment ink and then heat embossed it.

Supplies:
Stitched Scallop Heart die set and Many Greetings Stamp set  -  My Creative Time
Formal Affair Stack  -  DCWV
Silver Card Stock  -  Coordinations
White and True Black Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Colorbox Black Pigment Ink
Adhesive Pearls and Pop Dots

I enjoyed making this card for Nikki's challenge.  I hope you will too!  Please go over to see the other beautiful creations at My Creative Time and don't forget to link up your project!  Have a great day!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)
