Happy Turkey Day Card

Hello everyone!  I am finally back to posting and glad to be here!
Today I have a card I made with an adorable little stamp set from Lawn Fawn called "Turkey Day".
Along with the stamp set I also used Stitched Party Banners from Lawn Fawn.
I adhered the circle down to the background paper and then raised the banner over it with a double stack of foam tape.  I attached the turkey with only a single layer of foam tape.

What's Shakin! Water Bottle Hangers

Good Morning!
Today I made some water bottle hangers with a pocket on the back to hold some iced tea mix.  I am entering this into the current PKS Color/Photo Inspiration Challenge you can see here.
I took my inspiration from the huge burst of flowers in the photo and picked some background paper full of flowers.
I used the PKS April 2014 stamp of the month set.  I do not normally receive the stamp set of the month from PKS but I LOVE flamingos, so I ordered it right away!
I enjoyed using my copics to color these pretty ladies!  Lots of beautiful pinks!!!
I used the Wine Bottle Tag die from Papertrey Ink to make the hangers.  I cut an extra lower portion for the back and glued 3 of the edges.  I tucked in two iced tea packets to go with the "What's Shakin" sentiment.

My Supplies:
PKSC-28 April 2014  -  Peachy Keen Stamps
Wine Bottle Tag die  -  Papertrey Ink
Summer Bliss 6x6 paper pad  -  Echo Park

Whale of a Birthday Card!

Good Morning!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  The weather on Long Island was absolutely beautiful for the Belmont Stakes horse race.  So sorry that California Crome didn't win the Triple Crown, but maybe next year!
Today I have a cute birthday card for a child using a Papertrey Ink stamp set and a BUNCH of scraps!
This paper from W R Memory Keepers called White Out, was some of my favorite!  I kept every scrap and I wanted to use them all so I put a bunch of layers in this card to use them up.
I used the Scalloped border die to make the "waves" and the Monthly Moments Journal card to do the edges.

My Supplies:
Whale Wishes stamp set and die set  -  Papertrey Ink
A Few Pointers die  -  Papertrey Ink
Monthly Moments: Journal Card 2  -  Papertrey Ink
Large Scallop Border die  -  Papertrey Ink

Ballerina Lunchbox Note

Good Morning!  Today I have a lunchbox note I made for my daughter.  I put a chocolate square inside for a little treat.
I used the small stamps in this set to make a background to place the pretty ballerina on.  I also put on a white layer for more definition.
I added a little bit of stickles here and there for some sparkle.
Adding the chocolate square inside made the note a little thick.  I added washi tape to make the closure more secure.

My Supplies:
Lunchbox Note die, Ballerina Beauty stamp set and die set  -  Papertrey Ink
Hibiscus Burst, White and Spring Rain  Card Stock  -  PTI
Hibiscus Burst and Blueberry Sky Ink  -  PTI
Copic Markers Y08, E31, E33, G21, BG10, E02, R20, RV02, RV04
Glam Pink and Yellow Stickles
Glossy Accents
Broken China and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks

Thank you for visiting today.  I am sorry it has been so long since my last post.  I have been having a bit of trouble getting my crafty mojo going.  Hopefully its back!
Have a good day!
