April Showers Umbrella Card

Happy Friday!
Today's post is a card I made for a Challenge over at The Kraft Journal - Rain.  I used a raindrop stamp and a cloud embossing folder to start my project.

The embellishment on the bottom was actually a blackboard clip.  I broke the clip off so I could add it flat onto my card.  I used some cool chalk markers to draw the flower on.  You could also use the embellishment to personalize it with a name.

My Supplies:
I'm Here For You Rain or Shine stamp set and Umbrella die  -  My Creative Time
Cloud embossing folder  -  Darice
Dots and Stripes 6x6 paper pad  -  American Crafts
Winter Wisteria and Royal Velvet card stock, Winter Wisteria Ink  -  Papertrey Ink
Chalkboard Clip -  Joann
Chalk Pens  -  Recollections
Glossy Accents

#Best Friends - Doggy and Kitty Card

Hello!  My project for today is made with a cute set from Lawn Fawn "Critters in the Burbs" and my favorite new embellishment lately, flair!  It's pretty simple but I love it!
I wanted to give this card an instagram feel so I used the mini frames to put the dog and cat in like polaroid snapshots.  I didn't have a small hashtag stamp so I made one myself from a slash.  I hand cut the banner.
I popped the doggy frame up with pop dots so it would rise up to the flair.  The kitty frame is flush on the card.

My Supplies:
Critters in the Burbs stamp set  -  Lawn Fawn (scrapbook pal.com)
Just Simply Live stamp set and Mini Frame die  -  My Creative Time
Dots and Stripes 6x6 paper pad  -  Echo Park
Flair  -  Simply Pastel, Recollections
Rustic White card stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Copic Markers

Thank you for visiting again.  I will be back this week with a few challenge projects I have planned.  Have a good day!!!

Bright and Cheerful Duck Card

Hi!  For the first time in a long while I am entering a challenge!  It feels good!!!
I've been way out of practice!  I'm entering this card into the PKS color/photo inspiration challenge you can see here.

The color and photo for the challenge inspired me to use the bright papers and cute little duck.   I cut the bottom layer to size and then place the top layer where I wanted it to be.  I carefully turned both papers over and marked where I needed to cut the green paper.  I then glued the green paper within the marks and then cut of the edges that hung off.
I used chalk and a make-up brush from ELF to do the cheeks.  I've used a couple of things (cotton swab, paint brush, sponge) to make the cheeks but a small soft make-up brush has been my favorite.
My Supplies:
Duck w/Egg  -  Peachy Keen Stamps and Cottage Cutz
The Spring and Summer Mat Stack  -  DCWV
Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, Lemon Tart and Orange Zest Card Stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks
Copic Markers, Glossy Accents
Sentiment, Happy Hunting stamp set  -  My Creative Time
Chalk and eye makeup blender brush for cheeks  -  ELF
Flower, Adhesive Gems and Brad from my stash

I'm so glad you stopped by today!  I have two more posts to show you this week so I hope you come back!  See you next time!!!

Hello From The Easter Bunny Card

Good Morning.  Another Easter Card to show you today.  I'm trying to get all my cards made and sent by Thursday but it's hard with the kids on Spring Break!
The Speech Bubble Border die is my new FAVORITE thing!  Lots of possibilities.  The best place I have found to get Lawn Fawn products is scrapbookpal.com , they have a good selection and shipping is free over $25.
I cut a tiny slit in the patterned paper and slipped in the butterfly paper clip.  Then I added a gem for a little sparkle.

Tag Sale #10, Wonderful Words: Hello, Polka Dot Parade #1 stamp set and die set  -  Papertrey Ink

Hippity Hoppity Easter Candy Tags

Hello, TGIF!!!!  My kiddos are on spring break after school today!  I'm so happy for them.  It has been such a loooooong cold winter!
For today's project I made Easter Bunny tags for some rock candy lollipops.

First is Miss Isabel's Pink!

 Next Master Zachary's Green!

Now, Miss Cassie's Purple!

I love to make them a little something special in their favorite colors.  I don't do many fancy scrapbook pages for my kids but what I DO like to do is put the card or tag I made for them in a page with a picture or two from the occasion.

My Supplies:
Tag Sale #10,
Tremendous Tags dies,
Hippity Hoppity stamp set and die set,
Vintage Buttons,
Bibiscus Burst and Lavender Moon ribbons, and
Button Twine  -  Papertrey Ink
Stickles, dimensionals
Copic Markers
Rock Candy Lollipops

Have a wonderful weekend.  See you next week!

Daisy Tags for Treat Bags

Hello my friends!  I made some tags to attach to pretty organza pull string bags I filled with some fruit gems candy.  One of my family's favorite treats!  I used 2 of My Creative Time's die sets for these; Stitched Daisy die and Just Tags die set.
I was able to use mostly scraps to put these together.  It makes me feel good to use up little pieces of paper I had laying around instead of throwing them out.
I embossed the "wish" sentiment to make it stand out nicely on the patterned papers and I added a few gems for some sparkle on some of them.
These were a very fun, quick project to put together!  Wonderful gifts to make if you need a bunch.

My Supplies:
Stitched Daisy die and Just Tags dies  -  My Creative Time
Sentiment  -  Heidi Swapp stamp set
Versamark ink pad and Black Embossing Powder
Organza Bags  -  Gifts International
Lemon Tart card stock  -  Papertrey Ink
Assorted Scraps
Twine and Candy

As always, thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful day!  I will be back with another project tomorrow.  See you then!!!
