Sayville Festival Turns out to be good.
We pulled out another disaster from the jaws of another Tropical Depression. Danny went away and Sunday was well attended in Sayville. Thank You all who attended. We are off Labor Day weekend. Which means we have two weeks to prepare for Argyle Lake on Sunday Sept. 13th and West Islip Sunday Sept. 20th. Two major events! Back to back weekends! No RAIN, NO RAIN! Come early. We will try to be well stock for each but it is best to be early. For both events we have a corner spot on the Montauk Highway side of the fair. Argyle we are on the sidewalk D90. West Islip we are near the hedges on the SW corner of the fair. Both days are going to be great.

OMG! We have dealt with wind. We have dealt with rain. Yesterday we had to deal with high tide and a storm surge from Hurricane Bill! We had a grate in the road behind our booth. It was supposed to be for run off! Run Off! There was water coming out (up) from the grate. The water was about 6" below the grate while we were setting up. When we were finished it was 6" above. We were lucky. We only had to stand in ankle deep water to work and our customers were dry. Others had ankle deep water in thier entire booth!
