Hello and welcome to Whimsical Wednesday Scrapbook Challenge. Today's challenge is to create a Halloween Themed Layout. The design team have all used some type of technique and give instructions. Your challenge is to create a Halloween LO and incorporate one of the designers techniques. This challenge was DT member Chloe's idea.
I chose to do distress inking on embossed paper as my technique.
First I used the Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder on the fence.
Then I used Tea Dye Distress Ink and lightly brushed over the raised embossing with a sponge dauber.
Once I got a feel for the amount of color I was getting I pressed harder on a few of the areas to make some spots darker.
The crinkle ribbon I used is from the Prairie Bird Boutique which you can purchase here.
