Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #13 - Get Well Wishes

Good Morning and welcome to Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #13 - Get Well Wishes.  This week both card teams have come together for our challenge, to make get well cards for a very special little boy. Angelo, who is the grandson of Margie from Bella Bug Creations, is going through a very difficult time right now.  He underwent brain surgery last week and will begin chemotherapy next week.  You can read more about Angelo at this post over at Margie's blog .  We hope that you will all join us and make a card for Angelo too!

  1. Hello Cathryn, I adore your card and I know Angelo will too. Those colors really pop but the star is that precious little lion. The rick rack is a nice touch too along with the stitching.Love his little face & how you stood him on the stool. You really did a great job.

  5. As always so adorable. You girls are killing me though with the sneaks because I originally started with a lion card then got your sneak and said darnit...back to the drawing board. LOL and this is not the first week this happened. Love the shape of the card...that elegant edges is a must have. Cutest face and just love the ric rak! Great job with the challenge.

    Oh is your card just so darn adorable! I love the colors and the stitching is perfect! The shape of the card and colors..wow! I love how you added the sentiment on the stand too! As always love it! Great job... Angelo's family is going to love it!

  12. Cathryn, I always love what you make and this is no exception. You card is so cute and sweet. I ust know that Angelo will love it. The PK stamp and shading on that cute little lion's face is superb! And I love anything with ric-rac.
    Please forgive me for not having my card posted this morning. I have been traveling today and just could not get it done. I tried to post it this morning while in the Atlanta airport. But no luck there. So it was late in the day before I got it done. I do not want to let the DT down.

  21. Cathryn, this must be the sweetest Lion I've ever seen. :o) Angelo will love t his! I love the colors (and polka dots!) The fact that it's a shape card makes me instantly gravitate to it and the ric rac is just perfect for this project.. it matches his mane! Brilliance. :o)
