Good morning and welcome to Whimsical Wednesday Challenge 16 - Fun With Folds.
The challenge this time is to create a card that is anything but a shape or A2 style. Examples: easel, gatefold, waterfall.
The challenge this time is to create a card that is anything but a shape or A2 style. Examples: easel, gatefold, waterfall.
I chose to do a gatefold birthday card. I picked up a Martha Stewart paper pad at Joanns this weekend on clearance. I don't know why it was on clearance I had never seen it before. It has some gorgeous coordinating paper including some holographic sheets. I love this pad and suggest it for anyone in need of birthday prints!
I cut my cardstock at 8" wide by 6" high, scored it at 2" and 6" and then attached my scallop to the left side only with Zip Dry glue. I love this glue because it drys so very fast and any that gets on the edges wipes right off!
Materials:
Cricut Cartridge Once Upon a Princess and Gypsy for cupcake cut at 2.75"
Wow So Many Candles stamp set - My Creative Time
Hawaiian Shores, Lemon Tart and Lavendar Moon Cardstock - Papertrey Ink
Festive Paper Pad - Martha Stewart
Oval and Scallop Nestabilities
Worn Lipstick and Broken China Distress Inks
Crystal Stickles
White Gel Pen
Zip Dry Paper Glue
