Day 1 - The Twelve Days of Christmas with My Creative Time

Hello to my blog friends!  Today is the 1st day of Emma from My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas. You should have arrived here from Cassandra's Blog.   We have some awesome holiday inspiration to help get you started (or finished hehehe) with your holiday gifts!!!
Today I made some super simple pencil holders for my kids to give their classmates.  I used three of Emma's dies - XL Label, Scallop and Stitched Circle dies.  I also used the border stamp from Whimsical Calendar Days Stamp Set.
In order to make the two slits for the pencil to fit through I used a Stampin Up punch that puts a half circle slit in the paper (Sorry not sure what it is called)

After I punched the slits in the label I ran the pencil through.  Then I added the Scallop and stitched circle to the front with a pop dot.
Supplies I used:
Christmas Eve Chowder 6x6 Paper Pad - Jillibean Soup
Stampin Up Slit Punch
Tea Dye Distress Ink
Stickles and Copic Markers
