Hey There! Today I made a card with some of My Creative Time's latest releases. (Spring Chicken Backgrounds and Hello Spring with egg layering dies). I used Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE) on the handle and edge of the basket to make it very shiny.
I cut out two of the baskets at 5" from Doodlecharms (since there are no layers for it), cut off the handle and top and bottom edges.
I took the pieces and pushed them into my Versamark Watermark pad, then dipped them in the UTEE and heated them up with my heat gun. I did this 3 times to get a nice thick, shiny finish.
I also used the Versamark pad with one of MCT's new flower background stamps to stamp the body of the basket.
Supplies I Used:
Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge
Spring Chicken Backgrounds and Hello Spring stamp sets - My Creative Time
(Hello Spring included layering Egg dies)
UTEE embossing powder
Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and Heat Gun
Playful Pink Paper Pad for purple gingham - Martha Stewart
Purple Polka Dotted paper - Bazzil Basics
Fine Linen and White Cardstock - Papertrey Ink
Rich Cocoa, rosebud and Bahama Blue Ink Pads - Memento
Copics G21 and Y17
Orchid Twine - The Twinery
Green, Cotton Candy and Baby Blue Stickles
Celebrate It Ribbon - Michaels
Vintage Photo Distress Ink

ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I have the Doodlecharms cart, but for some reason, I don't use it very much. This project has given me inspiration to examine it again! TFS!
