Welcome to My Creative Time's May Release Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Cassandra's Blog. If not you can start at the beginning of the hop here.
I am showcasing the "Here's Lookin at you" set. I did something a little different with the ties. When I was looking at a few extra pieces laying on my table I thought the ties looked like flower petals. So here's my project for today, I hope you enjoy it!
I used the CAD Corner Chomper-Cloud on the corners to give it a "shaped" card effect.
I cut out 12 ties in assorted papers and punched a hole at the top of each one. Then I took a brad and loaded them all on, spacing them evenly. Then I put some foam tape on the back of each "petal" and placed the flower onto the card. I secured the scallop to the middle with pop dots.
List of Supplies:
Here's Looking at You stamp set and Stitched Circle and Scallop dies - My Creative Time
Fine and Dandy Girl 6x6 pad - My Mind's Eye
Berry Sorbet and Vintage Cream Card Stock - Papertrey Ink
Crop-a-Dial and Crop-a-Dial Corner Chomper, Cloud
Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Shabby shutters Distress Inks
Brad, Crystal Stickles
Foam Tape and Pop Dots
