Good Morning!
It is another 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time. Today I made an adorable treat box that contains my favorite candy, swedish fish! I can remember going to the department store when I was a kid and getting a 1/4 pound in a white paper bag and loving every single ounce!
This cool box is made with just ONE uncut 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock. I only had to score and fold. You can see the tutorial here.
I do believe that this is one of my all time favorite projects I have done. You only need to use one piece of card stock and they can be decorated for ANYTHING!!! Add as much or as little embellishment as you like. Emma's Mini Frame and Arrow dies work so perfectly here. I don't know if I will be able to give this one away, hehehe!
I kept the back simple adding just some of the matching patterned papers.
This is a view of the opened box. You could also use velcro or clips to keep the top closed instead of the eyelets and twine.
List of Supplies:
My Favorite Sayings stamp set, Stitched Mini Frame die and Capture Frame Arrow die - My Creative Time
Snorkel: School's Out patterned paper - Cosmo Cricket
Chartreuse Card Stock - Papertrey Ink
Salty Ocean Distress Ink
Mandarin Twine - The Twinery
Eyelets - We R Memory Keepers
Fish Brad - The Eyelet Outlet
Swedish Fish Candy
Well that's it for me today. I enjoyed making this project and I hope you enjoyed it too! Have a wonderful day my friends!
