I started with a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock sized 8 x 6".
I scored the 8" side at:
1/2, 3, 4 1/4 and 6 3/4".
I scored the 6" side at:
1 1/4 and 4 3/4”.
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
I attached pieces of Flowers for Every Season DSP to the front, back and top flap of the box in sizes:
(2) 3 1/4 x 2 1/4"
(1) 1 x 2 1/4"
Make sure to put your DSP on BEFORE you cut the circle in the front panel.
I cut the circle in the front panel with a smooth circle from the Layering Circle dies.
Then I cut a larger scallop circle out of Magenta Madness Cardstock with another of the Layering Circle dies.
I cut out the middle of the scallop circle with the smaller smooth circle die I used to cut the hole in the front of the box. This makes a pretty border to put around the hole.
Glue the border on the outside of the box around the hole with Liquid Glue.
After you glue on the border you can attach a piece of Window Sheet to the inside of the box, over the hole, with Glue Dots.
I cut two holes in the middle of the front flap of the box with a
1/8" hole punch.
I closed the flap and made a pencil mark where each hole touches the body of the box, then I punched two matching holes in the body of the box.
I poked Magenta Madness 2020 - 2022 In Color Ribbon from the inside of the box to the outside and then through the underside of the flap to the front.
I gently pulled the ribbon snuggly and tied a bow in the front.
Supplies:
