Hi Friends!
Today's project is a gift box for a Bath Bomb. It is a Flip Top Milk Carton that measures 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 4". I also made a 3 x 3" card using the Pansy dies to make the Large Pansy. I used Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, Pansy dies, Rectangle Stitched dies, Layering Circle dies and Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon. This box is large enough to fit the normal size Bath Bombs from Lush or you can put a smaller one in with some tissue paper.
The Gift Box
I started with a piece of Bumblebee Cardstock sized 10 1/2 x 8 1/2".
I scored the 10 1/2" side at:
2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2 and 10".
I scored the 1/2" side at:
2, 4 1/2 and 6 1/2".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
I attached Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper in sizes:
(4) 2 1/4 x 2 1/4" for the sides and
(2) 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 for the front and back of the top flap.
I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.
I attached small Velcro Dots to the inside of the top flap and bottom of the front flap.
I ran Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon inside the box and then closed the flap. I tied a bow on the outside of the box. This way the recipient doesn't have to untie the bow to get into the box!
I cut a small rectangle from Fresh Freesia Cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched dies. I stamped the sentiment from Pansy Patch stamp set with Tuxedo Black Ink onto the right side of the rectangle. I cut the Rectangle down to 2" and attached it to the front of the box with Liquid Glue.
I cut a Smooth Circle from Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and a Scalloped Circle from Basic White Cardstock using the Layering Circle Dies. I attached them together with Liquid Glue. I punched a hole at the top with a 1/8" circle punch.
I cut a Pansy Image from the Pansy Petals DSP using the Pansy dies and attached it to the tag with Dimensionals.
I added some Silver Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack to the tag and tied it around the middle of the bow.
I added Wink of Stella Glitter to the Pansy and 2021-23 In Color Jewels to the Pansy middle and the left side of the sentiment.
The 3 x 3 Gift Card
I started with a 6 x 3" piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.
I scored the 6" side at 3" and folded it over to make the card base.
I cut out the Pansy using the Pansy dies:
I cut the bottom of the flower from Basic White Cardstock,
the top two "sea shell shaped" petals out of Fresh Freesia Cardstock,
All of the Fringe pieces and the middle from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock,
and the middle dot from Daffodil Delight.
I cut the background Leaves from Evening Evergreen Cardstock and
the top of the leaves from Soft Succulent Cardstock.
I attached a 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" piece of Basic White Cardstock to the front of the card.
I attached a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" piece of Pansy Petals DSP on top of the Basic White.I added the leaves with Liquid Glue to the left and right sides of the card.
I attached the Pansy on top of the leaves with Dimensionals.
