Hi Friends!
My project today is a two part box where the tip slides off. I used the Easter Bunny stamp set, Framed Florets dies, Dandy Designs Saleabration Designer Series Paper and Opaque Gems.
I started with the Bottom.
I cut a piece of Fresh Freesia Cardstock sized
10 x 6 3/4".
I scored the 10" side at:
1/2, 4, 5 1/4 and 8 3/4".
I scored the 6 3/4" side at:
1 1/4".
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
Next I did the top.
I cut a piece of Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper to
10 1/8 x 5 3/4".
I scored the 10 1/8" side at:
1 1/4, 4 3/4, 6 and 9 5/8".
I scored the 5 3/4" side at:
1 1/4".
Below is a picture of how your DSP should look after scoring and cutting.
To put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
I cut a 2 piece frame out using the Framed Florets dies.
I cut the outer frame from Basic White Cardstock.
I cut the inside oval from a different pattern of the Dandy Designs DSP.
I wound Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the long side of the box and tied a bow at the top of the front.
I stamped the Bunny, Eggs and Flower images, from Easter Bunny stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I colored the images with Stampin' Blends.
Light Flirty Flamingo - Nose, Cheeks, inside Ears
Light Smokey Slate - Bunny
Light & Dark Granny Apple Green, Light & Dark Fresh Freesia and Light & Dark Balmy Blue - Flowers and Eggs
Dark Daffodil Delight - Flower Centers
I attached the Frame to the front of the Box with Dimensionals.
Then I attached the Bunny and Eggs to the Frame with Mini Dimensionals & Dimensionals.
For the final touch I added 3 White Opaque Gems to the box.
