Day 12 - The Twelve Days of Christmas with My Creative Time

If you are looking for the Monday Scraptastic Challenge scroll down or click here!

Good Morning and Welcome to Day 12 of The 12 Days of Christmas with My Creative Time.  The last day is here, I can't believe it!  I hope you have enjoyed my creations.  I wanted to give you some inspiration for your holiday gifts and decorations.  Hopefully I suceeded!  Today I am using Miss Emma's Gift Card Sentiments Stamp Set.
You should have arrived here from Cassandra's blog.  If not you can start at the beginning here.
Today I made some cute little Christmas Tree crayons that my twins are giving their classmates this year.
In order to make the crayons  I took some Crayola Crayons and removed the paper.  I broke them up and put about 2 crayons in each tree of the Wilton Mini Tree Silicone Pan.  Put them in a 250 degree oven for about 20 minutes (until they have melted to a nice flat back).  I let them cool for about 35 minutes then popped them out of the pan.

My Supplies:
Gift Card Sentiments  -  My Creative Time
Wilton Mini Tree Silicone Pan
Crayola Crayons
Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge for Snow Globe cut at 5", for Banner cut at .82"
The Christmas Stack  -  DCWV
Yuletide  -  K&Company
Coordinations Red Glitter Paper
Festive Berries and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks
Crop-A-Dial and Eyelet
Sheer Ribbon  -  Michaels

  1. These are so cute! I think this might be the best use for silicone candy molds I have seen...other than for candy, but heck, that can be any shape and still taste the same. LOL LOVE these adorable little crayons you made. :)What a great project for the last day of the hop. I can't believe it's over!

  158. What a neat idea! Great job! When I was little, we would melt crayons and dip pinecones in them and decorate the tree with them. Thx for bringing back the memories :) And super great job all week !!! It was a blast :)
