Shop Stampin' Up! Here
I started with a piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock sized
8 1/2 x 7"
I scored the 8 1/2" side at:
1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2 and 7 1/2"
I scored the 7" side at:
1, 5 1/4 and 6 1/4"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
I attached several pieces of Patterned Paper from my stash to the box.
(2) 4 x 2 3/4" front and back
I cut a 3 1/8 x 1 3/4" rectangle from the middle of one of the above pieces using the Deckled Rectangle dies.
I put Dimensionals all around the back of the frame we just made and attached it to a piece of patterned paper sized
3 3/4 x 2 1/2"
I attached the entire piece to the front of the box with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Cat from Potions & Spells stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I colored the image with Stampin' Blends.
Dark Smokey Slate - Cat
Dark Flirty Flamingo - Nose and Cheeks
Dark Granny Apple Green - Eyes
I cut the image out with the matching dies.
I cut the Broom out of Crushed Curry Cardstock and Basic Black Cardstock.
I attached the Broomstick under the opening of the Frame with Liquid Glue and a Dimensional under the Head of the Broom.
I attached the Cat to the right side with Dimensionals and Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow with Iridescent Striped Ribbon and attached it to the upper left with a Glue Dot and Liquid Glue.
For the final touch I added 3 Green Gems, from my stash, to the front of the box.
