Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #22 - "Scrapping School Memories"

Good and welcome to Whimsical Wednesdays Scrapbook Challenge.  This week the challenge is to create a Scrapbook Layout with a school theme.  Your layout must include a chipboard element on the page.

Today I have used a cut file from Regina of The Cutting Cafe.  Regina is also our sponsor for this challenge.  The Prize is any 3 files from her store!
My three children start school today!  I will miss them sooooo much.  I have made a layout with a picture from the first day of school last year!  I drew little sharpie hearts on their hands so they wouldn't miss me and they drew some on my hand so I wouldn't miss them.  I still missed them anyway but they don't know that!!!

My Supplies:
School Days Digi Image  -  The Cutting Cafe
Embossed Gift Card Holder Die (I used it for a journaling pocket)  -  My Creative Time
Gift Card Sentiments  -  My Creative Time
Cricut Cartridges  -  Mickey Font and A Child's Year
Notebook Border, Circle and Scallop Punches  -  EK Success
Tim Holtz and Cuttlebug Embossing folders
Patterned Paper  -  Me & My Big Ideas
Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Blueberry Sky and New Leaf Cardstock  -  Papertrey Ink
Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Inks
Chipboard Hearts from my stash
Pink Sorbet and Peapod Twine  -  The Twinery
Black Gel Pen

Thank you for stopping by.  Please go visit the Whimsical Wednesdays Blog to see the rest of the Design Teams Layouts.  We cannot wait to see what you create!  This challenge closes September 21.
On October 7 at 7pm EST we are having our Whimsical Halloween Blog Hop.  There will be a variety of projects and lots of blog candy so be sure to mark your calendars!

Have a great day!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn :)

Such an adorable LO. I think it is so sweet that you and your children drew hearts on each others know I could not help but go awwwww, when I read that. I love the way you put the hands on your LO with the hearts and then put twine on them. Your children are so beautiful!! Great job with the challenge Cathryn!
