BEGINNER VALENTINE TREAT BOX with DARLING DINOS - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!My project today is a Valentine Treat Box that is good for a beginner to make.  It measures  1 1/2  x  3 1/2  x  1".  I used the Darling Dinos stamp set & dies Bundle, Stylish Shapes dies and Most Adored Designer Series Paper.

I started with a piece of Real Red Cardstock sized

5 1/2  x  5 1/2"

I scored the first 5 1/2" side at:

1/2,  2,  3  and  4 1/2"

I turned the Cardstock 1/4 turn and scored at:

1  and  4 1/2"

Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look when you are finished.

I stamped the images, from Darling Dino stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock.

Tuxedo Black Ink  -  Triceratops and Flower

Real Red Ink  -  3 Hearts

I cut the images out using the matching dies.

I colored the images with Stampin' Blends.

Light Smokey Slate  -  Spots Horses and Nose

Light Granny Apple Green  -  Triceratops and Leaves

Dark Real Red  -  Flower Petals

Light Lemon Lolly  -  Center of Flower

I stamped the sentiment "You're the Best" onto a piece of Basic White Cardsotck 3/8" high with Real Red Ink.

I cut the sentiment to about 2 1/4".

I cut a  2 1/2" circle from Basic White Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes dies.

I attached the sentiment to the bottom of the 2 1/2" circle with Liquid  Glue.

I attached the Triceratops and Flower to the Circle with Dimensionals and the 3 Hearts with Liquid Glue.

I wound Silver & White Sheer Ribbon around the long side of the box and tied a bow at the top.

I attached the Circle to the front of the box, over the Ribbon with Liquid Glue.
