Twins Card

I made this card for PKS Sketch Challenge. This idea has been in my head for a while. It is a memory from when my twins were little babies. They used to sleep in their bassinets at the foot of my bed and in the morning when I heard them waking up I would look down at the foot of my bed and two bright eyed little heads would pop up very unsteady and wiggly. I would think to myself "how did My husband, daughter and I ever live without these beautiful little people in our lives". Now they are so big!! I can't believe it, great memories!!!! My Creative Time's sentiment stamp went perfectly with my memory!

Materials:
Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge
Peachy Keen Stamps Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment PK-450
Sentiment - My Creative Time You Had Me at Chocolate Set
Paper - TPC Studio Bugs and Butterflies
Sixxix Embossing Folders - Hearts and Dots

EK Sucess Label Punch

Green, Blue and White Valentine

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentine's Day. I must say, I love how this Valentine came out! I have never done something like this before and it was so much fun. I am sure I will be doing many more. I think they would make pretty package decorations too!!

I used my scalloped and regular heart nestabilities and my cuttlebug (I used chipboard for the middle to give it some weight and it was much easier to use the nesties for that than change out the blade for my cricut). I am sure you can get just about the same effect from the hearts on the Sweethearts Cartridge.
I cut two hearts from the patterned paper and one from lightweight chipboard (a cereal box I had hanging around).
Inked the edges with some green distress ink.
Attached the ribbon to the chipboard. Then covered the front and back with solid cardstock and layered the patterned paper on top.
I used the leaves that come with the Recollections Boutique Mulberry Paper Roses. They were a bit too bright green so I rubbed some white irridescent ink on them to tone the color down.
Attached the leaves first, then the two flowers, then stuck the leaf pins in.

Materials:
Scallop and regular heart nestabilities with Cuttlebug
Spring Moss cardstock - Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper - K&Company Charlotte
Leaves from Recollections Boutique Fleur Collection - Mulberry Paper Roses Tin
Flowers from same collection - Floral Embellishments (Michaels)
Leaf Pins - Maya Road
Ribbon from my stash
Tim Holtz distress ink - peeled paint
White ink - Brilliance Pigment Ink Pad - Moonlight White
Glue dots and Zip Dry glue

I will be entering this into the Cricut Cardz Challenge #61
Thank you for visiting me today, I appreciate all comments! Have a great day!! Love, Cathryn <3

Heart Shaped Crayon Valentine's

I made 60 of these valentine's for my 7 year old twins classmates. We are not allowed to send in food treats so I figured this would be a useful fun gift! (I'm not quite sure but I think an alarm will go off if a cupcake enters the school building!!!!!!!!!)
I made the crayons with a heart shaped silicone pan. It took quite a while because the pan only made 6 at a time and I only had 1 pan!!!!
The hearts are all from the sweethearts cricut cartridge.

Materials:
Wilton heart shape silicone pan
At least 4 crayons per heart broken up
Patterned paper - K& Co.
Journaling and sentiment stamps from My Creative Time - My Journaling and You Had Me at Chocolate Sets
Twine
Eyelets
Ribbon
buttons
pop dots

I put the filled heart pan in the oven for about 10 - 15 minutes @ 250 degrees. They needed to cool for at least 30 minutes. I attached them to the front of the Valentine with 2 pop dots.
I will be entering this in the Wacky Wednesday Valentine Challenge

Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate every single comment and follower!!! Have a great day! Love, Cathryn <3

Card for Mom

I made this card for my Mom using a sentiment from a new stamp set I got from My Creative Time. Love the stamps, great quality!!! I also used a die and stamps from PKS Cottage Cutz. I am entering this is Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. I struggled for a couple of days but I LOVE how this card came out! You had to use either the Just Because Cards or Wildcard Carts and include a stamped sentiment. I used the milk bottle cut and a tag from Just Because Cards. I took the tag and welded another one to it to make a shaped card. I ran the milk bottle top layer through my cuttlebug with a new Sizzix heart embossing folder.

Materials:
Sentiment- My Creative Time Mom You Rock set
Flowers - CC-PK4x4-010 Cottage Cutz die and stamp
PTI Cardstock - Kraft, sweet blush, ripe avocado, spring moss and lemon tart
Patterned Paper - K&co. Spring Blossom
Cappuccino Twine - The Twinery
Pink chalk
White Gel Pen
Distressed Inks
Sizzix heart embossing folder
eyelet
Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate every single comment!!
Lots of Love, Cathryn <3

Valentine Card for My Hubby

This card is for my husband for Valentine's Day. I got the inspiration from Leanne, a member of Emma's Design team (creativetimeforme.com). She got the directions from a tutorial on valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com. I watched the video and then did things a little bit differently. Instead of punches I used the heart on Create a Critter and I did not put the extra circles under the dress of the lady. I love these hearts so much I can tell I will be using them for quite a few projects in the future!

I will be entering this card in the Cricut Cardz Challenge
Materials:
Patterned Paper - Garden Vignettes DCWV
Cardstock - True Black Papertrey Ink, Red, Grey and Black from my stash
Create-a-Critter Cartridge for hearts and frames
black ribbon for tie
Irock and gems
Sentiment - You Had Me at Chocolate from Emma's Creative Time
Stick on pearl for dress
Black fibers from my stash

Thank you for taking the time to look at my post. I appreciate all comments and my followers are the best!!! Lots of Love, Cathryn

Valentine Treat Holders & a Card

Here are a few Valentine treat holders I made out of some empty Prima flower bottles.

First I took some stiffened felt and cut it to fit almost entirely around the middle of the bottle.
Cut some cardstock almost as long, punched the borders and attached an eyelet (through felt and cardstock) at each side with my crop-a-dile.
Attached the felt with some ribbon on back put through the eyelets
Wound some twine around the neck of the bottle, tied the scalloped image on and attached a bow.
Materials:
Recycled Prima flower bottles
Stiffened felt from M's
Cardstock - K&Co. Lovely
Circle, scallop and border punches - EK Sucess
Stamped Images from M's Dollar Bin
eyelets
ribbon from M's
Sentiment From Emma Aguilar's You Had Me at Chocolate set www.creativetimeforme.com
Stickles
Copic Markers

For the card I used some beads and a stick pin from M's jewelry section to create an accent for the bow.
Materials:
Cardstock - Papertrey ink Plum Pudding, Hibiscus Burst
Patterned Paper - Martha Stewart
Ribbon from my stash
Stamped image from M's dollar bin
Sentiment from Emma's set also
Stickles
Copic Markers
Gel Pen
