I started with a piece of Lemon Lolly Cardstock sized
11 x 8"
I scored the 11" side at:
1/2, 4 1/2, 5 3/4 and 9 3/4"
I scored the 8" side at:
1 1/4, 4 3/4 and 6"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look when you are done.
I attached several pieces of Floral Delight Cardstock to the box.
(2) 3 3/4 x 3 1/4" front and back
(2) 3 1/4 x 1" short sides
(2) 1 x 3 3/4" long sides
(2) 3 3/4 x 1 3/4" back and front of flap
I used 2 sets of 3/8" Adhesive Velcro Dots inside the flap for the closure.
I stamped the Flowers, from the Notes & Totes stamp set, onto a piece of Pool Party Cardstock using Pool Party Ink.
I cut 1 of the Tote Bag die from the stamped Cardstock with the Notes & Totes dies.
I cut the bottom, side strips and handle from Pretty Peacock Cardstock.
I cut the Scarf from Floral Delight Designer Series Paper.
I cut the Sunglasses from Lemon Lolly Cardstock.
I folded the sides and bottom of the Tote Bag over and glued them to the back.
I added the Side Strips, Bottom and Handle to the Tote Bag with Liquid Glue.
I added the Sunglasses to the right side with Liquid Glue.
I attached the Tote Bag to the front of the box with a strip of Dimensionals in the middle and Liquid Glue on the sides and handle.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White Cardstock with Pretty Peacock Ink.
I fussy cut the sentiment out and attached it along the bottom of the box with Mini Dimensionals.
I added some Wink of Stella Glitter to the Sunglass lenses and for the final touch I added 3 Pretty Peacock Blooming Pearls to the top/left of the box.
