Whimsical Wednesday Scrapbooking Challenge #25 - Whimsical Wizards

Hello and welcome to Whimsical Wednesday Scrapbook Challenge.  Today's challenge is to create a Halloween Themed Layout.  The design team have all used some type of technique and give instructions.  Your challenge is to create a Halloween LO and incorporate one of the designers techniques.  This challenge was DT member Chloe's idea.
I chose to do distress inking on embossed paper as my technique.
First I used the Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder on the fence.
Then I used Tea Dye Distress Ink and lightly brushed over the raised embossing with a sponge dauber.
Once I got a feel for the amount of color I was getting I pressed harder on a few of the areas to make some spots darker.
The crinkle ribbon I used is from the Prairie Bird Boutique which you can purchase here.

 My Supplies:
Paper Doll Dress up Cricut Cartridge  -  Fence sized at 3"  I welded 3 pieces together.
Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge  -  Pumpkins cut at 2.75"
Monster Mash Faces 1 1/8" Stamp Set  -  PK-693 Peachy Keen Stamps
Crinkle Ribbon - Prairie Bird Boutique
Tea Dye, Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks
MMI Halloween Stack and K&CO HW Stack
Tim Holtz Wood Grain Embossing Folder
Sponge Daubers  -  Joanns
Green Stickles
Eyelets and Crop-A-Dial
Drippy Goo Punch  -  Martha Stewart
White and Red Gel Pens
Chalk for pumpkin cheeks  -  Inkadinkado

What a great LO! I love the technique you chose, the inking and embossing really make the fence stand out. Also great job with the drippy goo punch. Don't you just love it? My husband bought it for me last year and it is by far one of my favorites especially when making stuff for Halloween. Tfs and have a great day. :)
