Puppy Card and Treat Toppers

Hello, long time no see!!!  I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!

I'm sorry it's been so long since I have posted something.   I've been changing things up and trying a little "Out with the old, in with the new" for the beginning of 2014.  Anyway, I am glad to be back.

My projects for today are some doggy bone treat toppers and a New Puppy Card.

 I LOVE the Limitless Labels dies because there are 4 shapes and you can cut out a bunch all at once.  It makes getting multiple treats done a lot quicker!!!

Aren't those mini bones the cutest ever!  They fit perfectly into the cello bag skittles or m&m's usually fit in.

Puppy Ornament

2013 Photo Slider Christmas Card

My project for today is my Christmas Cards for this year.  I used all Papertrey Ink dies for these cards.

 

I used a mixture of K and Company and SEI papers for the cards.  I used double sided papers for these because I love how it's still pretty when you slide the picture out.

 I cut the tree out 3 times.  I glued the 1st layer down completely.  The second layer I only glued down at the very middle and the 3rd layer I sewed on.

Christmas Tag - Backpack Surprises

Good Morning my friends!

I have been trying to surprise my kids with a little something special in their backpacks every day this week.  Only 4 more school days until CHRISTMAS VACATION!!!!!!!!

Today I gave them a bunch of pencils with some cute toppers I picked up.  I tied them with a ribbon and attached some tags.  I hope they make my kids smile.

Let it Snow Envelope - MCT Day 5 of the 5 Days of Christmas

Hello!  Today is the last day of the 5 Days of Christmas with My Creative Time.  The Design Team sure has given us quite a bit of inspiration this week!

Today I made an envelope using the Stitched Envelope die and a snowman I put together using my Gypsy.

I used "A Day in December" for the sentiment and one of the "Fun Stitched Edges" dies on the bottom of the patterned paper.

 I designed my snowman with my Gypsy.  The scarf and nose I cut by hand.

Stamped Treat Bag and Tag - MCT 5 days of Christmas Day 4

Hello!  Today is Day 4 of My Creative Time's 5 Days of Christmas.

For my project today I made a treat bag and tag.

 I stamped the star from "A Day in December" on a plain muslin drawstring bag and added some glitter for sparkle.

After I stamped the star on the bag I traced the outer edge with glue and added the glitter on top.

I made the tag with the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow and Tag dies.  the Santa hat is from Classy Girl Accessories and the Sentiment is A Day in December stamp set.

Candy Cane Tag - MCT 5 Days of Christmas



Hello!  Today is Day 3 of the 5 Days of Christmas with My Creative Time.

For today's project I made a sparkly tag.  I always do a new tag every year to attach to my cookie platters.

This project got a bit messy.  Glitter was EVERYWHERE!  It seemed like every time I tried to clean it up I knocked the jar over and made it worse!  You could use stickles to create less mess but I wanted the chunkier effect, so glitter it was!!!  I used the Tag dies and attached a piece of card stock behind it to give it a layer. 

 

The "Merry Christmas" is from Teeny Tag Holidays stamp set.

 

I cut the Candy Cane from the Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge at 4".  The bow is the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow die.
