Hi Friends!
My project today is a Rectangular Gift Box that measures
5 x 3 x 1 1/4". I used Sweetest Cherries stamps set, the Cherry Builder Punch, Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I started with a piece of Poppy Parade Cardstock sized
11 x 8 1/2".
I scored the 11" side at:
1 1/4, 4 1/4, 5 1/2, 8 1/2 and 9 3/4".
I scored the 8 1/2" side at:
1/2, 1 3/4, 6 3/4 and 8".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring, cutting and rounding the corners of the side pieces.
After attaching the tabs with Tear and Tape I attached the two front flap pieces together with Liquid glue. I trimmed the sides slightly (if needed) to make sure the flap fit inside the box snuggly but not too tight.
Next I cut a 4 3/4 x 2 3/4" piece of Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the sentiment, from Sweetest Cherries stamp set,
1/2" down and over to the left onto the DSP with Balmy Blue Ink.
I attached the DSP to the top of the box with Liquid Glue.
I attached 4 more pieces of DSP to the box.
(2) 4 3/4 x 1" for the long sides.
(2) 1 x 2 3/4" for the short sides.
I stamped the Cherries, from Sweetest Cherries stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock.
I stamped the Cherries with Poppy Parade Ink.
I stamped the Leaves with Pear Pizzazz Ink.
I stamped the Veins on the Leaves and the Stems with Mossy Meadow Ink.
I cut the pieces out using the Cherry Builder Punch.
I attached the Cherries to the right of the sentiment with Liquid Glue.
I cut a finger grip hole on the left side of the front side with a small circle punch.
I tied a small bow from White Baker's Twine and attached it between the leaves with Liquid Glue.
For the final touch I added 3 Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels under the sentiment.
