HIPPEST HIPPOS LIDDED BOX with the HIPPO DIES - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!
My project today is a lidded box that measures  4 1/4  x  3  x  1 3/4".    Hippest Hippos stamp set and the Hippo dies are FREE using SALE-A-BRATION points.  I also used the Rectangle Stitched dies, Brights Designer Series Paper and the Cloud Punch.

I made this box in two pieces.  I started with the top which is a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock sized
6 1/4  x  5".
I scored all 4 sides at:
1".
For the bottom of the box I used a piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock sized
7 5/8  x  6 3/8".
I scored all 4 sides at:
1 3/4".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below are pictures of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.

I attached a piece of Melon Mambo, Brights Designer Series Paper to the box.
(1)  2 1/2  x  3 3/4"  for the top of the box.
I cut a rectangle from Basic White Cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched dies.  It measured  3 1/8  x  1 7/8".
I cut 3 clouds from Vellum using the Cloud Punch.
I taped then together with scotch tape.
I used a sponge and Balmy Blue Ink to stencil some clouds along the rectangle.
I cut another of the same rectangle from Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
I cut the bottom off, about 3/4" at the higher point, using the waves die from the Hippos dies.
I attached the bottom piece to the cloud rectangle with Liquid Glue.
I attached the entire piece to the top of the box with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Hippo, from Hippest Hippos stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the Hippo image, an Umbrella from Brights DSP and 2 Flowers from Daffodil Delight Cardstock, using the Hippos dies.
I colored the Hippo with Stampin' Blends.
Light and Dark Smokey Slate for the Hippo.
Dark Petal Pink for the inside of the Ears.
Light Melon Mambo for the Tutu and Shoes.

I attached the Hippo to the front of the box with Mini and Regular Dimensionals.
I attached the Umbrella with 2 Mini Dimensionals and a dab of Liquid Glue to attached the handle to the Hippo's hand.
I attached the Flowers with Liquid Glue.

I cut a small rectangle from Melon Mambo Cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched dies.
I stamped the sentiment onto the right hand side of the rectangle with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut about 1/2" off  the left hand side of the rectangle and attached it to the upper right side of the box with Liquid Glue.

I tied a bow with Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attached it over the top of the sentiment with 2 Glue Dots.
I added Wink of Stella Glitter to the Tutu, Shoes and Hippo's Eyes.  For the final touch I added Glossy Dots to the Umbrella and Flowers.
