Hi Friends!
My project today is a Halloween Treat Box that measures 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 x 1/2". I used Scary Cute stamp set, Blossoming Happiness dies, Layering Circle dies and Celebrate Everything Host Designer Series paper.
I started with a piece of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock sized
7 x 2 3/4".
I scored the 7" side only at:
1, 3 and 3 1/2".
I cut the 1" strip about 1/8" from the edge with a border die from the Blossoming Happiness dies.
To put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after cutting the border and rounding the corners of the top.
I attached 3 pieces of Celebrate Everything Host Designer Series Paper to the box.
(1) 2 1/2 x 3 1/4" inside back of the box.
(1) 2 1/2 x 1 3/4" front of the box.
(1) 2 1/2 x 1/2" top/front strip.
I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Frankenstein image, from Scary Cute stamp set, onto Parakeet Party Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the image out using a 1 5/8" circle die from the Layering Circle dies.
I cut a 1 3/4" scallop circle die from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and attached it to the back of the Parakeet Party circle with Liquid Glue.
I wound Black & White Gingham Ribbon around the box, under the front flap, and tied a bow on the right side.
I attached the image circle to the front, onto of the flap, with Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment, from Scary Cute stamp set, onto Crushed Curry Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the sentiment out by hand and attached it to the upper right side of the flap with Liquid Glue.
For the final touch I added 3 Parakeet Party 2022-2024 In color Matte Decorative Dots around the bottom of the front of the box.
