MINI CHOCOLATE SANTA'S TREAT BOX with SWEET CANDY CANES - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!

My project today is a Treat Box that holds 8 Russell Stover Mini Chocolate Santas.  It measures  4 1/4  x  2  x  3/4".  I used the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set, Candy Cane dies, Stylish Shapes dies, Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper and Festive Pearls.

I started with a piece of Garden Green Cardstock sized

6 1/4  x  6".

I scored the  6 1/4" side at:

3/4,  5  and  5 3/4".

I scored the  6" side at:

3/4,  2 3/4,  3 1/2  and  5 1/2".

Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring, cutting and rounding the corners of the top flap. (I used a 1" corner rounder).

I attached 4 pieces of Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper to the box.

(2)  3/4  x  4"

(2)  1 3/4  x  3/4"

I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.

I stamped both Candy Cane images, from Sweet Candy Canes stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Real Red Ink.

I stamped 2 of the sprigs of greenery onto Basic White Cardstock with Garden Green Ink.

I cut the pieces out using the Candy Cane dies.

I attached the left hooking Candy Cane to the upper left of the box with Liquid Glue.

I attached the right hooking Candy Cane crossing over the first one with Dimensionals.

I attached the Sprigs diagonally in the middle of the Canes with Dimensionals.

I cut a partial circle out of the back of the box for a finger grip with a 1" circle hole punch.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White Cardstock with Garden Green Ink.

I cut the sentiment out with a tag die from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I attached the tag to the middle of the Sprigs with a Dimensional and a dab of Liquid Glue at the end.

I tied a bow with Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attached it between the Sprigs with 2 Glue Dots and a dab of Liquid Glue behind the knot.

For the final touch I added 3 Silver Festive Pearls around the box.
