Hi Friends!
My project today is a Mother's Day Box that measures 3 1/4 x 4 x 1 1/4". I used the Circle Sayings stamp set, 2 3/8" Circle Punch, Petal Park Builder Punch and Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper.
I started with a piece of Lemon Lolly Cardstock sized
9 1/2 x 5 1/4"
I scored the 9 1/2" side at:
1/2, 3 3/4, 5 and 8 1/4".
I scored the 5 1/4" side at:
1 1/4".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
I attached 2 pieces of Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper to the box.
(2) 3 x 3 3/4" front and back.
I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Flowers, from the Circle Sayings stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Bubble Bath Ink.
I cut the image out with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch.
Then, I stamped the same flowers around the bottom of the circle.
I stamped the sentiment int the middle with Boho Blue Ink.
I cut a hole at the top of the front and back of the box with a 7/8" (or similar) Circle Punch.
I attached the circle to the front of the box with Dimensionals.
I tied Glittered Organdy Ribbon through the holes and tied a bow at the front.
I cut some flowers from Bubble Bath Cardstock using the Petal Park Builder Punch.
1 Large Flower
3 Middle Flowers
3 Small Flowers
I put all the Flowers on my Stampin' Pierce Mat and pushed down in the center with the cap of my Take Your Pick Tool.
I made 1 big flower with 3 pieces and 2 smaller ones with 2 pieces each using Liquid Glue.
I attached the flowers, with the Large one in the middle, to the upper right side of the image circle with Liquid Glue and Mini Dimensionals.
For the final touch I added Lemon Lolly Solid Gems to the middle of the Flowers.
