I started with a piece of Pool Party Cardstock sized
7 1/2 x 6"
I scored the 7 1/2" side at:
2, 3, 5 1/4 and 6 1/4".
I scored the 6" side at:
1/2, 1 1/2, 4 1/2 and f 5 1/2".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
I attached several pieces of Sunny Days Saleabration Designer Series Paper to the box.
(2) 1 3/4 x 2 3/4" front and back of large flap
(2) 1 x 2 3/4" front and back of small flap
(2) 3/4 x 2 3/4" long sides
(2) 3/4 x 2" short sides
I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Cat, from Pets & More stamps set, onto Basic White Cardstock.
I stamped the detailed side of the Cat stamp first with Smokey Slate Ink.
I cleaned off the stamp and turned it over on the block.
I inked up the stamp with Smokey Slate Ink and stamped it off one time.
Then I stamped the background over the detailed image.
I colored in the Cat's nose with a Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend.
I fussy cut the image out by hand.
I cut a 1 1/2 x 2 3/8" background from Thick Basic White Cardstock using the Perennial Postage dies.
I cut a piece of Sunny Day DSP to
1 1/4 x 2".
I attached the pieces together with Liquid Glue.
I wound Silver and White Sheer Ribbon around the closed box and tied a bow on the left side.
I attached the left side of the Postage Stamp diecut onto the short flap with Dimensionals.
I attached the Cat to the Postage Stamp with Dimensionals also.
For the final touch I added a Lost Lagoon Tinsel Gem to one of the Cat's Ears.
