I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock sized
8 1/2 x 8"
I scored the 8 1/2" side at:
1, 4, 5 and 8"
I scored the 8" side at:
1, 5 and 6"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
I attached several pieces of Gorgeous Grape Regals Designer Series Paper to the box.
(2) 2 3/4 x 3 3/4" front and back
(1) 2 3/4 x 1 3/4" back flap
(2) 3/4 x 3 3/4" long sides
(2) 2 3/4 x 3/4" short sides
I cut a 2 x 3 3/8" rectangle of Granny Apple Green Brights Designer Series Paper using the Radiating Stitches dies.
I attached the rectangle to the right/front of the box with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Cat and Books images, from Potions & Spells stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the images out using the matching dies.
I colored the images with Stampin' Blends.
Dark Smokey Slate - Cat and inside of Book
Light Granny Apple Green - Cat's Eyes
Light & Dark Daffodil Delight - Book
Dark Highland Heather - Book
Dark Pumpkin Pie - Book
Light Basic Black - Cover of Book
I attached the Books about 3/8 of an inch above the bottom of the rectangle with Dimensionals.
I attached the Cat to the top of the Books with Dimensionals.
I cut a label from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock using the Happy Little Things dies.
I stamped the sentiment "Happy Halloween" onto the label with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I attached the label beside the Rectangle with Liquid Glue.
I attached 3/8" Adhesive Backed Velcro Dots to the back flap of the box for the Closure.
I ran Iridescent Striped Ribbon around the top flap and tied a bow on the top of the box.
For the final touch I added 3 Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems around the front of the box.
