I started with a piece of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock sized
9 1/2 x 6 1/2"
I scored the 9 1/2" side at:
1, 2, 7 1/2 and 8 1/2"
I scored the 6 1/2" side at:
1, 2 3/4, 3 3/4 and 5 1/2"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here!
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look when you are done.
I attached several pieces of patterned paper from my stash to the box.
(2) 1 1/2 x 5 1/4" top and bottom of flap
(2) 3/4 x 5 1/4" long sides
(2) 3/4 x 1 1/2" short sides
I cut the Broom out using the Potions & Spells dies.
Broomstick - Basic Black Cardstock
Broom Head - Crumb Cake Cardstock
I inked the edges of the Broom Head with Crumb Cake Ink.
I attached the pieces together with Liquid Glue.
I cut a 1 1/2 x 1" Oval from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock using the Mini Pocket Envelope dies.
I stamped the sentiment "A Little Hocus Pocus" onto the oval with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut (2) 2 3/8 x 1" rectangles from some patterned paper using the Deckled Rectangle dies.
I attached them to the front of the box, leaving a small slit inbetween them, with Liquid Glue.
I placed the Broom and label onto the rectangles and measured where I wanted them to go.
I attached the label to the Broom with Liquid Glue.
Next, I attached the entire piece to the top of the box with Dimensionals.
I cut 2 medium and 3 small Bubbles from Granny Apple Green Cardstock using the Potions & Spells dies.
I attached them behind the sentiment and Broom Head with Liquid Glue.
I tied a ribbon around the middle of the box and tied a bow at the top for the closure.
I added some Wink of Stella glitter to the bubbles and for the final touch I added 3 green gems around the box.
