I started with a piece of Most Adored Designer Series Paper sized
5 x 8"
I scored the 5" side first at:
1 1/4"
I turned the paper to the 8" side so that the scored line is towards the top and scored at:
1/2" all the way
I scored the rest to the first scoreline only at:
1 3/4, 4 1/4 and 5 1/2"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your DSP should look after scoring and cutting.
I stamped the Dotted Tab, from Keeping Tabs stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Real Red Ink.
I stamped the Heart and Lines image above the Dots with Real Red Ink.
I cut the image out using the Keeping Tabs Punch.
I attached the tab to the front piece of the box with Liquid Glue, making sure to leave enough room for 3/8" Velcro Dots to fit below the box top.
I attached a set of 3/8" Adhesive Velcro Dots to the back of the tab and inside back of the box for the closure.
I cut out 4 circles using various dies and a punch.
2 1/8" Real Red - Spotlight on Nature dies
2 1/8" Basic White - Stylish Shapes dies
1 3/4" Basic White - 1 3/4" Circle Punch
1 5/8" Basic White - Spotlight on Nature dies
I attached the two 2 1/8" circles together, with the red on top, with Liquid Glue.
I attached the 2 white circles together, smaller on top, with Liquid Glue.
I attached the White circles onto of the Red circle with Dimensionals.
I attached the circles to the front of the box with Dimensionals.
I cut a Heart from Real Red Cardstock using the Bee Builder Punch.
I attached the Heart to the middle of the circles with Dimensionals.
I tied a small bow with White Baker's Twine and attached it to the upper/left of the circles with Liquid Glue.
For the final touch I added a medium Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the Heart.
