I started with a piece of Boho Blue Cardstock sized
6 x 5 1/2"
I scored the 6" side at:
3/4, 2 3/4, 3 1/2 and 5 1/2"
I scored the 5 1/2" side at:
3/4, 4 and 4 3/4"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look when you cut it.
Next I attached a 1 3/4 x 3" piece of the DSP to the front section of the box.
I cut the window out of that section using a rectangle die from the Perennial Postage dies.
I added Tear & Tape to the inside of the box around the Window opening.
I attached a piece of Window Sheet sized
1 7/8 x 3"
over the opening onto the tape.
After I put the box together I added the rest of the Storybook Memories Designer Series Paper.
(2) 1 3/4 x 3" front and back, including the front one we already put on
(2) 1/2 x 3" long sides
(2) 1 3/4 x 1/2" short sides
I snapped the Chipmunk onto Very Vanilla Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the image out using the matching dies.
I colored the image with Stampin' Blends.
Light & Dark Pecan Pie - Chipmunk
Light Boho Blue - Necktie
Light Real Red - Flower
Light Granny Apple Green - Leaves
I stamped the sentiment "Happy Spring" onto a 1/2 x 1 3/4" piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I attached the sentiment at the bottom of the window with Dimensionals.
I attached the Chipmunk to the right side of the box, on the sentiment, with Dimensionals.
I tied Very Vanilla and Black Checked Ribbon around the underside of the flap and tied a bow on the top.
For the final touch I added 3 Ombre Dots to the front of the box.
