OPEN TOP EASTER TREAT BOX with STORYBOOK FRIENDS - Stampin' Up!

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
My project today is an Easter Treat Box that measures  1 3/4  x  5  x  1/2".  I used the Storybook Friends stamp set & dies Bundle, Spotlight on Nature dies, 2" and  1 3/4" Circle Punches and the Storybook Memories Designer Series Paper.

You can watch my Video Tutorial Here!

I started with a piece of Old Olive Cardstock sized
5 1/4  x  5"
I scored the  5 1/4" side at:
1/2"
I scored the  5" side at:
1/2,  2 1/4,  2 3/4  and  4 1/2"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look when you are done.

I attached one of the (2)  1 1/2  x  4 1/2"  pieces of the Storybook Memories Designer Series Paper to the left large panel of the Cardstock.
I used the  1 3/4"  Circle Punch to cut a partial circle for the top/front opening.
I put the box together and then added the other piece of DSP to the back of the box.

I cut a  2"  circle from Basic White Cardstock using the 2" Circle Punch.
I stamped the Rock Wall image onto the bottom of the circle with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I used Stampin' Blends to color the image.
Light & Dark Smokey Slate  -  Rock Wall
Dark Old Olive  -  Bush
Light Old Olive  -  Grass

Next I used a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue Ink to add some Sky above the wall.
I stamped the Hedgehog onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I colored the Hedgehog with Stampin' Blends.
Light & Dark Pecan Pie  -  Hedgehog
Light & Dark Crumb Cake  -  Face, Belly and Feet
Dark Petal Pink  -  Inner Ears and Cheek
Light Pool Party  -  Apron
I attached the Hedgehog to the left side of the circle with Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment "Happy Spring" to the top right of the circle, separating the words, with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut a 2 1/4" circle from Old Olive Cardstock using the Spotlight on Nature dies.
I attached the 2 circles together with Liquid Glue.
I attached the entire piece to the front of the box with Dimensionals.

I purchased the Lollipops, Bubbles and Pencils from Dollar Tree.
I put them into the box, Lollipop in the middle, and added a little bit of Shredded Paper.
I wound Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon around the Lollipop Stem and tied a bow.
For the final touch I added some Orange Ombre Decorative Dots around the box.
