Hi Friends!
Today I made a project using the adorable Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper. I love pets so I enjoy this paper so much. I made a Gift Box for Dog or Cat Treats. I also used Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper, Scalloped Contours dies, Layering Circle dies and Cherry Cobbler Metallic Ribbon.
I started with a piece of Old Olive Cardstock sized 10 1/2 x 6 1/2".
I scored the 10 1/2" side at:
2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2 and 10".
I scored the 6 1/2" side at:
2".
Below is a picture of what your Cardstock should look like after cutting, folding and burnishing with a Bone Folder.
I attached Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper to the front and back of the box with Liquid Glue in sizes:
(2) 2 1/4 x 4 1/4".
I pinched the box from front to back and punched a hole using a Crop-a-Dial hole punch.
I cut the Cat image from Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper using the Rectangle Stitched dies.
I cut a scalloped circle from Old Olive Cardstock using the Scalloped Contours dies.
I attached the Cat image on top of the Scalloped Rectangle with Liquid Glue.
I attached the entire piece to the front of the box with Dimensionals.
I cut the Dog Image from the same DSP using the Layering Circle dies. I cut a larger circle from Old Olive Cardstock and a Scalloped Circle from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.
I attached the Dog circle to the Old Olive circle with Dimensionals.
I attached the Old Olive Circle to the Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Circle with Liquid Glue.
I punched a hole in the top of the Circles with a 1/8" hole punch. I looped Gold Trim, from the Simply Elegant Trim Pack, through the hole.
I squeezed the box together again and put some Cherry Cobbler Metallic Ribbon through the holes in the box.
I tied the tag onto the ribbon and made a bow in the front.
