Hi Friends!
My project today is a Valentine Treat box that measures 3 x 2 x 2". It is easy to score, cut and put together. I used Sweet Hearts dies, Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper, Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon, Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Opal Rounds. You can get two of these boxes from a piece of Cardstock or DSP.
I started with a piece of Real Red Cardstock sized 8 1/2 x 5".
I scored the 8 1/2" piece at:
2, 4, 6 and 8".
I scored the 5" side at:
2".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of what your Cardstock should look like after scoring and cutting.
I attached Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper to the box.
(2) 1 7/8 x 2 7/8"
I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.
I pinched the top of the box together and punched two holes in the top with a 1/8" (or 1/4") hole punch.
I added my treats and ran Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon through the holes tying a bow at the front.
I cut an envelope from Real Red Cardstock using the Sweet Hearts dies.
I folded down the sides and bottom.
I used Liquid Glue to seal the bottom of the envelope leaving the top flap opened.
I cut 3 different sized Blushing Bride hearts from Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper using the Sweet Hearts dies.
I used Liquid Glue and Mini Dimensionals to attach the hearts inside the envelope and shown above.
I attached the envelope with hearts to the front of the box with Dimensionals.
Unfortunately, I forgot to add my bow on the envelope in my Video.
I made a small bow from Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and added it to the envelope with Liquid Glue.
For some sparkle I added Wink of Stella Glitter to the hearts.
For the final touch I added 3 Opal Rounds around the envelope.
