Hi Friends!
My project today is a Basket of Apples treat box that measures
4 x 3 1/2 x 1 1/4". I used Cheerful Basket stamp set, the Full Basket dies, Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper and Stylish Shapes dies.
I started with a piece of Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper sized
11 x 8 1/4".
I scored the 11" side at:
1/2, 4 1/2, 5 3/4 and 9 3/4".
I scored the 8 1/4" side at:
1 1/4 and 4 3/4".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring, cutting and rounding the corners of the flap.
I stamped the apple image, from Cheerful Basket stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I colored the image with Stampin' Blends.
Light and Dark Mossy Meadow for the Leaves.
Light and Dark Real Red for the Apples.
I cut the image out using the Full Basket dies.
I cut several pieces of Cardstock to make the basket using the Full Basket dies.
Soft Suede for the Basket.
Crumb Cake for the Slats on the Basket.
Smokey Slate for the handle.
I cut a piece of Real Red Cardstock to fit behind the lower part of the basket. I stamped the apples all over it and colored only the leaves with a Light Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend.
I attached the pieces all together using Liquid Glue and the Silicone Mat.
I cut 2 Apples from Real Red and 2 stems with leaves from Mossy Meadow Cardstock using the Full Basket dies.
I attached the apples inside the box on the lower right with Liquid Glue.
Next I attached the Stems with Leaves on top of the apples.
I tied Black and White Gingham Ribbon around the top of the front flap and tied a bow on the left side.
I secured the bow to the box with a Glue Dot.
Then, I attached the Basket to the front of the box with Dimensionals.
I cut a 1 1/4" circle from So Saffron Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes dies.
I stamped the sentiment, from Cheerful Basket stamp set, onto the circle with Tuxedo Black ink.
I cut a 1 3/8" circle from Real Red Cardstock using the Layering Circle dies.
I attached the circles together with Liquid Glue.
I attached the circles to the lower right side of the basket with a Dimensional on the right and Liquid Glue on the left side.
For the final touch I added 3 Matte Black Dots, one to an apple and two around the sentiment.
