Hi Friends!
My project today is a Treat Box for St. Patrick's Day. I used Lucky Clover stamp set, Playing in the Rain stamp set and dies, Stylish Shapes dies, Brights Designer Series Paper and Fun Flowers Resign Shapes.
I started with a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock sized
11 x 3 1/4".
I scored the 11" side ONLY at:
4 1/4, 5 3/4 and 10".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
I attached Brights Granny Apple Green Designer Series Paper to the box.
(2) 3 x 4" front and back
(1) 3/4 x 3" top flap
I attached the front piece of DSP first, then cut the window out with a 2 x 2" square die from the Stylish Shapes dies.
I attached a piece of Window Sheet, sized 2 1/2 x 2 1/2", inside the front panel with Liquid Glue at the edges.
I attached the candy bag inside the box with 2 Glue Dots.
I stamped the Turtle image, from Playing in the Rain stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I colored the image with Stampin' Blends.
Light and Dark Old Olive - Head, Shell, Hands and Feet and middle of the Flower
Light and Dark Daffodil Delight - Belly and Flower Petals
I die cut the image out using the Playing in the Rain dies.
I punched two holes in the top of the box with a small hole punch.
I ran Gold and Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon through the holes and tied a bow at the front.
I stamped the sentiment, from Lucky Clover stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink.
I cut the sentiment out by hand and attached it to the bottom/front of the box with Liquid Glue.
I attached the Turtle to the left side of the box with Dimensionals.
For the final touch I added 5 Parakeet Party Fun Flower Resin Shapes around the right side of the box.
