I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock sized
11 x 8 1/4"
I scored the 11" side at:
2, 3, 6 1/2 and 7 1/2"
I scored the 8 1/4" side at:
3/4, 1 3/4, 6 1/2 and 7 1/2"
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
I attached several pieces of the Full of Life Designer Series Paper to the box.
(2) 4 1/2 x 3 1/4" front and back of large flap
(2) 4 1/2 x f 1 3/4" front and back of small flap
(2) 4 1/2 x 3/4" long sides
(2) 3/4 x 3 1/4" short sides
I cut the pieces of the Beach Scene out using the Beach Day dies.
Lifeguard Shack top, bottom and Ramp - Balmy Blue Cardstock
Life Preserver - Daffodil Delight
Grass - Granny Apple Green
I attached the Shack pieces together using Liquid Glue and a Silicone Mat.
I cut a 4 x 2 5/8" rectangle, from Full of Life Designer Series Paper, using the Radiating Stitches dies.
I attached the Lifeguard Shack and the Grass onto the rectangle with Liquid Glue.
I wound Linen Thread, starting on the top, around the box lid 4 times.
I secured the thread with Dimensionals.
I attached the Rectangle to the top of the box, over the Thread and Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White Cardstock using Balmy Blue Ink.
I cut the sentiment into 2 pieces and attached them to the upper left of the Rectangle with Liquid Glue.
For the final touch I added 3 Balmy Blue Rainbow Dots.
