CLEVER CAT GIFT BOX TUTORIAL for JUSTIN'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS with CUTE HALLOWEEN - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!

My project today is a rectangular gift box that fits a pack of Justin's Almond Butter Cups.  The box measures  4 1/2  x  2 1/2  x  3/4".  I used Clever Cats stamp set, Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper, the Rectangle Stitched dies and Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock sized

7 x 6 1/2".

I scored the 7" side at:

1/2,  3,  3 3/4  and  6 1/4".

I scored the 6 1/2" side at:

3/4,  5 1/4  and  6".

The below picture is what your Cardstock should look like after scoring, cutting, rounding the corners of the flap with the Detail Trio Punch and using a small circle punch to make a finger grab on the side without a flap.

I attached 1 piece of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper to the box.

(1)  2 1/4  x  4 1/4" for the front of the box.

I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the images from Clever Cats stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock.

I used a Stamp and Pierce Mat underneath the Cardstock for a solid image.

I stamped the cat, hat and outline of the pumpkin images with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I stamped the inside of the pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie Ink.

I colored the buckle of the hat with a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend.

I colored the edges of the pumpkin with a Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blend.

I fussy cut the images out by hand.

I cut a green rectangle from Granny Apple Green Cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched dies.

I cut a piece of the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper to

1 3/4  x  3".

I stamped the spider and web onto the upper right corner of the DSP with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I attached the Spider DSP on top of the Granny Apple Green Stitched Rectangle with Liquid Glue.

I attached both rectangles to the front of the box with Dimensionals.

I glued the cat onto the pumpkin and the hat on top of the cats head with Liquid Glue.

I attached them all to the Polka Dot DSP with Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attached it above the rectangles with 2 Glue Dots.

For the final touch I added Wink of Stella Glitter to the hat and pumpkin face.
