DIAGONAL SIDED GIFT BOX with GLAD WE'RE FRIENDS GUINEA PIG - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!

My project today is a Rectangle Box that has diagonal sides.  It measures   3 x 2 x 2".  I used Glad We're Friends stamp set, Stylish Shapes dies, Layering Circle dies and Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.

You need two pieces sized  7 x 6".

One Coastal Cabana Cardstock and 

one Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.

You will score BOTH pieces exactly the same.

I scored the  7" side at:

2  and  5".

I scored the  6" side at:

2 and 4".

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.  Below are pictures of how your Cardstock and DSP should look after scoring and cutting.

I stamped the Guinea Pig image, from Glad We're Friends stamp set, onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I cut the image out with a  1 1/2" scalloped die from the Layering Circle dies.

I cut a Dotted Circle from Coastal Cabana using a 1 3/4" die from the Sylish Shapes dies.

I attached the image circle on top of the Coastal Cabana circle with Liquid Glue.

I colored the image with Stampin' Blends.

Light and Dark Soft Suede for the Fur.

Light Petal Pink for the inside of the Ears.

Light Pool Party for the shadow around the image.

I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of Coastal Cabana Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I cut the sentiment out with a label die from the Stylish Shapes dies, making sure that the sentiment is on the right hand side.

I attached the label to the top of the box, about 1/8" from the right edge, with Liquid Glue.

I wrapped Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the short side of the box, on the left side, and tied a bow on the top edge.

I attached the Guinea Pig circles on top of the left side of the label with Dimensionals.

For the final touch I added 3 Fun Flowers Resin Shapes to the label and Guinea Pig.
