Hi Friends!
My project today is for Father's Day. It is a Twisted Box that measures 7 x 4 x 3". I used He's All That stamp set, All That dies, He's the Man Designer Series Paper, Tailor Made Tags and Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon.
I started with a piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock sized
10 1/2 x 8 1/2".
I scored the 10 1/2" side at:
1 1/2 and 8 1/2".
I scored the 8 1/2" side at:
4 and 8".
I turned the Cardstock to the other 8 1/2" side and scored to the
FIRST SCORELINE ONLY at:
2 1/2 and 6 1/2".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring and cutting.
I attached the two largest pieces of He's the Man Designer Series Paper to the box BEFORE I put it together.
(2) 6 x 3 3/4".
Then I folded the top back onto the DSP and attached it with Liquid Glue.
After the box was put together I attached the 2 other DSP pieces.
(2) 3 3/4 x 1 1/4".
I cut a 3 7/8 x 2" tag from Sahara Sand Cardstock using the Tailor Made Tag dies.
I stamped the "Happy Father's Day" sentiment, from He's the Man stamp set, at the bottom of the tag with Early Espresso Ink.
I stamped the next sentiment, "For the Man who does Every Thing", onto Cajun Craze Cardstock using Early Espresso Ink.
I cut out the sentiment on the Cajun Craze Cardstock with a Rectangle Die from All That dies.
I attached the Cajun Craze Rectangle onto the tag with Dimensionals.
I punched small holes in both sides of the top of the box with a 1/8
(or 1/4") hole punch.
I put 16" of Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon through the holes, strung the tag on the right side and tied a bow.
I stamped the "Hello Handsome" sentiment onto Sahara Sand Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink.
I cut the sentiment out with an oval die from the All That dies.
I attached it to the lower left side of the box with Dimensionals.
