Mother's Day GIFT BOX with LIGHTING THE WAY - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!My project today is a Mother's Day Gift Box that measures  3 1/2  x  5  x  1".  I used Lighting the Way stamp set and dies, Stylish Shapes dies, Petal Park stamp set, Petal Park Builder Punch, Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and the Timber Embossing Folder.

I started with a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock sized

9 1/2  x  7 3/4"

I scored the  9 1/2" side at:

1,  4 1/2,  5 1/2  and  9"

I scored the  7 3/4" side at:

1,  6  and  7.

Below is a picture of how your Cardstock should look after scoring, cutting and rounding the corners of the top flap.

I attached 6 pieces of Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper to the box.

(2)  3 1/4  x  4 3/4"  front and back

(2)  3 1/4  x  3/4"  short sides

(2)  4 3/4  x  3/4"  long sides

I attached the DSP to the box with Liquid Glue.

I cut a  2 3/4  x  2 3/4" square from Crumb Cake Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes dies.

I embossed the square with the Timber Embossing Folder and attached it to the upper front of the box with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Leaves and medium Lightning Bug onto Basic White Cardstock with Old Olive Ink.

I cut them out using the Lighting the Way dies.

I also cut a Lantern from Old Olive Cardstock with the same set.

I cut a piece of Vellum to fit behind the inside of the lantern and attached it on the edges with Liquid Glue.

I attached the Lantern to the right side of the Square with Dimensionals.

I stamped the flowers onto Basic White Cardstock using the Petal Park stamp set and Bubble Bath Ink.

I cut the flowers out using the Petal Park Builder Punch.

I attached the Larges Leafed Branch first with Dimensionals and Liquid Glue.

I attached the medium Flower next and then the Small leafed Branch.

I attached the Large flower at the bottom of the Lantern and the Firefly to the top with Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment, from Lighting the Way stamp set, onto Bubble Bath Cardstock with Old Olive Ink.

I cut the sentiment out slanting the end and attached it under the Lantern with Liquid Glue.

I tied Linen Thread in a Bow, leaving long tails, to the top of the Lantern.

For the final touch I added Lemon Lolly Solid Gems to the middle of the Flowers and above the sentiment.
