WINDOW BOX TUTORIAL with DANY GARDEN and DRANGONFLY GARDEN - `Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends,
For my project today I made a Rectangle Window box.  I sized it to fit some small doughnuts or doughnut holes.  I added the oval window on the top to show off the contents.  I used Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper, the Dragonfly Punch and the Stitched Shape dies.  The Dandy Garden DSP and Stitched Shapes dies are both retiring.

I started with a piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock sized
10  x  7 1/2".
I scored the 10" side at:
1 1/2,  4 1/4,  5 3/4  and  8 1/2".
I scored the   7 1/2" side at:
1 1/2  and  6".
To cut the box you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.

Before I put the box together I needed to cut the oval window.
I attached a  4 1/2  x  2 1/2"  piece of Dandy Garden DSP on the panel that I want to be the top.
I cut an oval hole in the panel with the DSP using one of the Stitched Shape dies.
I attached a piece of Window Sheet to the underside of that panel,  sized  3 1/2  x  2 1/4", with Glue Dots.
Then I put the box together using Tear and Tape.

I attached the rest of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper to the sides of the box with Liquid Glue.
(2)  4 1/2  x  2 1/2"
(2)  2 1/2  x  1 1/4"
I cut a Dragonfly Image from the Dandy Garden DSP with the Drangonfly Punch.  I attached it to the box with Liquid Glue on the back of the body and Dimensionals on the wings.
I placed the Dragonfly on the right hand side with the wings and head touching the Window Sheet.

I wrapped Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon around the left hand side of the box twice and tied a bow at the top.
I added some Wink of Stella to the Drangonfly's wings and for the final touch I added 3 Opal Rounds to the top right side of the box.

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
Today I made a gift box that is inexpensive, quick and easy!  You can get four of these boxes out of 1 sheet of Designer Series Paper!  The finished box measures  4  x  1 1/4  x  7/8".  I made these boxes to fit a marshmallow bunny treat or a bunch of adorable mini erasers.  I used Springtime Joy stamp set, Hydrangea Hill Designer Series paper, and the soon retiring Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

I started with a piece of Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper sized  3  x  10 1/4".
I scored the 10 1/4" side at:
1 1/2,  2 3/8,  6 3/8  and  7 1/4".
I scored the 3" side at:
7/8  and  2 1/8".

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.

I put a Marshmallow Bunny that I purchased from Walmart in one of the boxes.  In the other box I put some Mini Bunny Earasers, from Target Dollar Spot, that I wrapped in a 3x5 Cellophane bag and taped down to size.

I wrapped Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon together around the box together and tied a bow just above where top flap ends.

I stamped the bunny from Springtime Joy stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I colored the image with Stampin' Blends:
Light and Dark Highland Heather for the flowers,
Light Mossy Meadow for the leaves and
Light Smokey Slate for the bunny.

I attached the bunny image to the front flap above the bow with Dimensionals.
I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers.
For the final touch I adde three Pastel Pearls to the bottom of the box.

EASTER EGG GIFT BOX with HEY CHICK - Stampin' Up!

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
My project today is a gift box that holds an Easter Egg.  I designed it to fit a chalk egg, bubble egg or plastic egg that is filled with treats.  I used the Hey Chick Bundle, Hey Birthday Chick Bundle, Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper,  Layering Circles dies, Fine Art Ribbon and Stampin' Blends.

First I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock for the inside egg holder sized
4 1/4  x 4 1/4".
I scored all four sides at 1".
I cut a hole in the middle square with the Layering Circle dies to make a place to hold the bottom of the egg.
Next I scored a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock sized
5 3/8  x  5 3/8".
I scored all 4 sides at  1 1/2".

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial here!

I attached pieces of the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper (blue) to the sides of the outside of the Balmy Blue box.
(4)  2 1/4  x  1 1/4"
and
I cut a piece of the DSP (green)
(1)  1/2  x  10".
I attached the blue pieces first with Liquid Glue, then wrapped the green around the bottom of the box and glued it in place.
I cut 4 fence pieces out of Crumb Cake Cardstock using the Birthday Chick dies.
I glued them to all four sides on top of the DSP pieces.

I stamped the images from Hey Chick and Birthday Chick stamp sets with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.
I cut them out with the corresponding dies.
I also cut the bag of seed out of Crumb Cake Cardstock and the sign from So Saffron Cardstock.

I colored the images with Stampin' Blends:
Light and Dark So Saffron for the chick bodies
Light Smokey Slate for the egg shells
Dark Pumpkin Pie for the Beaks and feet
Dark Flirty Flamingo and Dark Balmy Blue for the hair and feathers
Dark Crumb Cake for the seed bag and sponging around the sign.
I stamped the sentiment from Hey Chick Stamp Set onto the sign with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I attached the large chick on the front with Dimensionals.
The party hat on one side,
the seed bag and chick in egg on the other side and
the sign on the back.

I stamped another sentiment from Hey Chick stamp set onto Granny Apple Green Cardstock and cut it with a die from the Hydrangea dies.
I placed the entire box into a  6 x 7 1/4" cello bag.
I tied it closed at the top with a bow using the Fine Art Ribbon.
I taped the sides that stuck out on the bottom of the bag down with Cellophane Tape underneath the box.
I punched a hole in the sentiment and tied it under the bow with twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

Supplies:
6 x 8 Cellophane bag (smaller if gusseted)
Egg Chalk - Target Dollar Spot
Egg Bubbles - Dollar Tree

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
My project today is a Tiny Milk Carton that holds 3 small Hershey's Chocolate Bunnies.
It measures 2 3/4  x  1 1/4  x  1 1/4".
I used Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper, Springtime Joy stamp set, Layering Ovals dies, the Strawberry Builder Punch and Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon.

I started with a piece of Fine Art Floral DSP sized  5 1/2  x  4 1/4".
I scored the 5 1/2" side at:
1/2,  1 3/4,  3  and  4 1/4".
I scored the 4 1/4" side at:
1 1/4,  3 1/4  and  4".

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.

Before I put the box together (with Tear and Tape) I cut an oval window in the front panel with the smallest smooth oval from the Layering Oval dies.
I attached a  1 1/8  x  1 7/8"  piece of Window Sheet on the inside of the box with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from Springtime Joy stamp set onto a piece of the other side of the DSP I was using.
I cut only the word Easter out, leaving some extra space in front of the E.
I put 3 chocolate bunnies in the box and closed the top with a Clever Clasp.
I tucked the end of the Sentiment under the Clasp.

I tied a bow with Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon and attached it to the middle of the Clever Clasp with a Glue Dot.
I cut the small flower from the scraps of the DSP using the Strawberry Builder Punch.
I placed the flower on my Stampin' Pierce Mat and pushed the cap of a Bic Pen into the center to make the flower petals rise.
I attached the flower to the bottom left side of the front of the box with Liquid Glue.
For the final touch I added a yellow rhinestone, from Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels, to the middle of the flower.

CARROT TREAT HOLDER with LAYERING OVAL DIES and SPRINGTIME JOY - Stampin' Up!

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
My project today is a Carrot Shaped Treat Holder.  I made it using the Layering Ovals dies, Double Oval Punch, Banners Pick a Punch, Regals Designer Series paper and Springtime Joy stamp set.  The carrot measures approximately
4 1/2  x  2 1/4".

I cut 2 ovals from a piece of Pumpkin Pie DSP, from the Regals 6x6 Designer Series paper, using the Layering Ovals dies.
The ovals measure 3 3/8" each when they are cut.
I made a mark with a pencil in the center of one of the ovals at 1 1/4" down from the top.
I placed the bottom of the Oval die on the mark and cut the top part of the oval out.

I put Liquid Glue on the outer rim only of the cut oval and placed it on top of the full oval.
After the oval was completely dried I gently slipped my finger in the opening and rubbed my fingers along the outer oval to help stretch it a little which keeps the paper from ripping.

I cut three small ovals, using the Double Oval Punch, out of Garden Green DSP from the Regals  Designer Series Paper.
I attached them to the inside/top of the treat holder with Liquid Glue.
After they dried I slipped my candy in.  You can secure it with a Glue Dot if needed.

I stamped the sentiment from Springtime Joy stamp set onto a 2 1/2" wide piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the piece down to 1/2  x  2 1/2" and cut both ends using the Banners Pick a Punch.
I attached it to the top of the front oval with a dot of Liquid Glue at the top.
I tied a bow with some Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim and attached it to the top of the sentiment with a Glue Dot.
For the final touch I added 3 Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the bottom of the carrot.

I folded down the flaps and on the 6 1/2" side I scored the middle piece ONLY at 1/4".

I cut 2 scallop circles out of Hydrangea Hill DSP to  2".
