Honey Stick Favor Pouch with Dandy Garden - Stampin' Up!

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
I got my inspiration for my project today from my kids love of Honey Sticks!  I decided to make a favor pouch that will hold 5 of them.  This pouch would also be great for Pixi Sticks candy too!
I used Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper, Dragonfly Garden stamp set, Dany Wishes dies and the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.

I started with a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock sized
8 1/4  x  4".
I scored the 8 1/4" side at:
3/4".
I scored the 4" side at:
1/2  and  2 1/4.
I turned the paper clockwise back to the 8 1/4" side and scored at:
1 1/2" to the 2nd scoreline ONLY.

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.

I attached a  6  x  1 3/4" piece of Dandy Garden DSP to the inside part of the box with Stampin' Seal.
I then cut the top of the inside part of the box with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.
I attached another piece of the same DSP, sized  5 3/4  x  1 1/2"  to the front flap of the box with Stampin' Seal.
I used a 1 3/4" circle punch to cut a crescent at the top of the front flap of the box.
I tied a piece of Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon in the top hole of the pouch.

I cut and Oval out of Basic White Cardstock and a Scallop Oval out of Blackberry Bliss Carstock using the Layering Oval dies.
I stamped the sentiment from Dragonfly Garden stamp set onto the middle of a Basic White Oval with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I attached the Oval to a Blackberry Bliss Oval with Dimensionals.
I attached the entire piece to the front of the pouch with Liquid Glue.

For one of the pouches I cut a small Dragonfly from the Dandy Garden DSP using the Dragonflies Punch.
I bent the wings up and attached it to the to of the Basic White Oval with Liquid Glue on the back on the dragonfly body.

For the other pouch I die cut a bee from the Dandy Garden DSP with the matching die from Dandy Wishes dies.
I attached it to the top of the Basic White Oval with 2 Mini Dimesionals.

I tied a bow with Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim and attached it to the bottom of the Basic White Oval with a Glue Dot on the back of the knot.
I added some Wink of Stella to the wings of the Dragonfly and bee.
For the final touch I added 3 of the Bumblebee color In Color Enamel Dots to the upper left side of the front flap.

Supplies:
1 3/4" Circle Punch

Thank you for visiting my Blog today.  I hope you enjoyed my Pouch.
See you next time.

Love and Hugs,
Cathryn
