Mini Easter Basket Tutorial with Hydrangea Hill - Stampin' Up!

Shop Stampin' Up! Here

Hi Friends!
Today's project is an Easter Basket that measures  4  x  2 1/2  x  2".   I used Hydrangea Hill Designer Series paper, Springtime Joy stamp set, Layering Circle dies and Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

I started with a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock sized  7  x  6 1/2".
I score all sides at 2".
On BOTH sides of the 7" side I scored to the FIRST SCORELINE ONLY with the small end of the score tool at:
5/8,  1 1/4,  5 3/4  and  6 3/8".
I cut the small flaps on the ends of the 7" sides apart to make 3 loose flaps.
I folded down the flaps and on the 6 1/2" side I scored the middle piece ONLY at 1/4".

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.

I cut a strip of Purple Posy Cardstock sized 3/4  x  6 1/2" for the handle.
I cut a piece of the Hydrangea Hill DSP sized  1/2  x  6 1/2".
I attached the DSP to the Purple Posy Cardstock with Stampin' Seal
I put a small line of Liquid Glue at the bottom of each side of the handle and pushed it in-between the outside flaps and inside flap.

I stamped 2 of the Bunny Images from Springtime Joy stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock  with Tuxedo Black Ink.
I colored the Image with Stampin' Blends.
I used the Layering Circle dies to cut some circles and scallop circles.
I cut the Bunny Images with a smooth circle to  1 5/8".
I cut 2 scallop circles out of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock to  1 3/4".
I cut 2 scallop circles out of Hydrangea Hill DSP to  2".

I attached the Bunny Images to the Gorgeous Grape Scallops with Liquid Glue.
I attached the Gorgeous Grape Scallops to the DSP Scallops with Dimensionals.
I attached the pieces to the front and back of the basket with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow with Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and attached it at the top of the largest Scallop with a Glue Dot.

I tied a bow with Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and attached it at the top of the largest Scallop with a Glue Dot.
I added some Wink of Stella Glitter to the flowers on the bunny's head.
For the final touch I added 6 Pastel Pearls to front of the basket.
