Hi Friends,
For my project today I made a 6 sided box, (Hexagon, I finally looked it up!), to hold Some Bunny Money Chocolate Coins and a tiny Lindt Bunny. This adorable box will also fit small gifts and other candy too. It is 3" tall by 2 1/4 in diameter. I used Springtime Joy stamp set, Hydrangea Haven Designer Series Paper and the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.
I started with a piece of Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper
sized 8 x 4 1/4".
I scored the 8" side at:
1 1/4, 2 1/2, 3 3/4, 5, 6 1/4 and 7 1/2".
I scored the 4 1/4" side at:
1 1/4 and 2 1/4".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
I cut holes in each folded panel, about 1/2" in from the side and 1/4" down from the top, with a 1/8" circle punch.
I filled my gift box with treats then threaded Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon (or Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon) through the holes and tied it in the front.
I cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock sized 2 1/2 x 1 1/2".
I cut the top with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch and the bottom corners with the corner rounder on the Detail Trio Punch.
I stamped the bunny image from Springtime Joy stamp set onto the tag with Tuxedo black Ink.
I colored the bunny image with Stampin' Blends:
Light Smokey Slate for the bunny
Light Rococo Rose for the flowers (Dark Balmy Blue and Light Highland Heather on the other versions)
Light Mossy Meadow for the leaves
Light Petal Pink for the cheeks
I slipped the tag onto the lower piece of ribbon on the box and then tied a bow.
Leave enough Ribbon at the ends for the recipient to be able to open the box without the ribbon pulling out of the holes.
For the final touch I added 3 Pastel Pearls scattered around the tag,
Supplies:
1/8" hole punch
Bunny Money - Target
Thank you for visiting my Blog today. I hope you enjoyed my gift box.
See You next time!
Love and Hugs,
Cathryn
