Hi Friends!
I made a slider box for my project today. I used Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper, Sweet Ice Cream stamp set, the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch and Layering Ovals dies.
This box measures 3 1/4 x 2 3/4 x 1".
I made the box to fit 4 mini scented markers I found at Michaels.
I started with a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock sized 5 x 4 3/4".
I scored all 4 sides at 1".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here. Next I wrapped a 9 1/4 x 3 1/4" piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock around the box making creases at the corners. I removed the Cardstock and sharpened the the creases with a bone folder. I put it on the box again and attached it together with Liquid Glue on the overlapping parts.
I attached Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper to the top, bottom and sides of the box with Liquid Glue in sizes:
(2) 2 1/2 x 3"
(2) 3/4 x 3"
I wrapped Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon around the side of the box and tied a bow on the left side. I cut a smooth oval out of Pool Party Cardstock and a scalloped oval out of Bermuda Bay Cardstock using the Layering Ovals dies. I attached the ovals together with Liquid Glue and attached them to the box, over the ribbon, with Dimensionals.
I cut the ice cream cone out of Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.
I attached the bottom of the cone to the Pool Party oval with Liquid Glue. I stamped the sprinkles, from Sweet Ice Cream stamp set, with Blackberry Bliss Ink onto the scoop of ice cream.
I attached the Ice Cream, covering the top of the cone, with Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Ice Cream stamp set onto a 1/2" piece of Purple Posy Cardstock with Blackberry Bliss Ink.
I cut both ends using the Banners Pick a Punch. I attached the piece to the lower part of the cone with Liquid Glue on the left side and a Dimensional on the right side. For the final touch I added a Pastel Pearl on the left edge of the sentiment.
Supplies:
Layering Ovals dies
Purple Posy Cardstock

See you next time!

Cathryn
